"I will not use this company again. I ordered after speaking with a sales rep (very nice and easygoing). However, after 5 days my account status had not changed. It was still processing. I called and found that the item had been backordered indefinitely. When asked why it was not indicated on the website I was told it was a malfunction. I cancelled my order. I was supposed to receive a call from a supervisor. I never received this call. I will not order from Computers4Sure again. I am absolutely 4Sure."

"All right, here is the deal… on May 6th, 2004 I ordered an x800pro that was on back order for a great price, I then called them and asked for an ETA. They kindly gave it to me saying it would ship next week, so when it didn’t ship I called again and the ETA had changed of course. Well that happened about 15 more times, and I finally called today, two and half months later and now they flat out tell me there is no ETA and have no idea when they are going to ship my card. I am completely dissatisfied with this company’s ability to acquire and distribute products, and as of today I cannot recommend this company to anyone."

"I ordered a video card on May 6th. It was in stock on the web site. A couple of days later I recieved a e-mail saying the item was on backorder. I don't have many problems with this but its been nearly a month now and it is still on backorder and customer support says its at least another 2-4 weeks but there isn't an eta even of they they are getting any in."

"My order got cancelled, for no reason, they didn't tell me, I just happened to go check the order status... absolutely no notification! EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

UPDATE: they replied with a message that didn't tell me why and didn't tell me why they didn't contact me. all it says is to feel free to reorder. apparently, they don't know how to read emails.

"I was surprised that this site was rated lower than A Matter of Fax. Maybe I was lucky. I ordered an ATX power supply and was surprised to have it at my door just a bunch of days later. The retail box was in excellent condition. Additionally, they had a better price than most (even newegg) for the product I bought ($69.99 for TRUE380 12/31/02), and shipping was free! "

"After I made an order, I found the shipping address was wrong, my old address. Therefore, I tried to change my shipping address of my order because the store has the function on the web. However, the system said that there was an error and it was not possible at this time. Therefore, I sent the customer support an e-mail through the support page. 12 hours later, I got a message that says that the item was shipped out!! I have not received any response from the support yet. Now, the item is on the way to my old address..... I will update this review and rating soon after I get new status.

It is already 48 hours later after I send the first e-mail to the customer support. I have not received any response from the support yet even though they states that they response in 48 hours.

I have received a response from the customer support. The support says, I can cancel by refusing the package when the item is delivered.
Hummmm... the item is heading to my old address. I no loger live there and someone else live there.
Anyway, I called the manager of my old apartment and ask him to cancel the package when it is delivered.

Bad news. The package was delivered. The tracking system says it is delivered without signature. Is this mean the deliverer dropped the package in front of the door of my old address? Anyway, I called the manager of my old apartment, but the package is missing.

I sent the customer support an e-mail abount this matter again.

Finally, the manager of my old apartment found the package, and I picked it up. It was a long way, but I finally got the item.

Shop again at the store? Well, They have unique items which are hard to find at another store. Therefore, I maybe shop again, but the priority is the lowest because I never want have this kind of trouble again.

"I purchased a pocket PC from Computer4Sure. Their web page asked if I wanted to see accessories for my purchase. I purchased their suggested modem for the pocket PC they had sold me. I did not use it right away. At home I could connect directly to my PC via cable. I took a trip some months later and brought along the modem. This would be its first use, to retrieve my e-mail on a trip. The modem that I had bought at their suggestion did not fit the pocket PC they had sold me and suggested I buy it for.

I contacted them and let them know that they had suggested I purchase a modem that did not work with the pocket PC that they said it would work with. They said that too much time had passed for me to return the item. I have given them several opportunities to rectify the situation but they stand by their original decision to stick me for the incompatible modem. It is a $99 paperweight on my desk.

This is poor service.
It is worse than poor service.
Buyer beware. Just because they suggest you purchase an item does not mean it will work as an accessory to your purchase. They refuse and continue to refuse to do anything about it.

I will never buy from them again. Anyone who asks my advice on computer equipment purchases hears this tale. I post this tale every time I find a board that rates them and will continue to do so until hell freezes over.

"I ordered a Rio Karma from Computers 4 sure, but i accidentally typed in 2 instead of 1. Then i noticed that there was NO WAY TO CANCEL!! I emailed them and asked them to cancel my order, or if they couldn't, just to send me 1. They finally replied to my email AFTER they sent it, saying that it had already shipped. this wouldn't be a problem if they had a cancel button or checked their email...but i returned the order with no problems and ordered a single rio karma. overall a good buying experience with some minor problems."

"I had such bad experiences with other NY-based camera stores this morning. Every company wanted me to buy $300 filter set or $250 extended warranties. If not, 4 weeks to ship product but charge credit card now. My search for the Sony DSC-F828 finally ended here. Computers4sure, an OFFICE DEPOT company, actually tells you how many they had in stock. I ordered around 2pm and at 4pm, they provided UPS tracking. I will be receiving this camera by end of the week! Superb! Also found $20 off coupon which beat the price of the unethical NY-based discount camera companies."

"Yes I know it sounds stupid but they are too fast! I called the night of 12/22 and said I didn't want to receive anything until the week of 12/29 because I'd be away and the guy said if you order now it should be good. He inferred with the holiday rush my order would be delayed anyway.

So on the night of 12/22 at 10pm I ordered. 12/23 I got notification that 2 packages would be delivered on 12/24 and 1 on 12/26 and one across the country a week later. Darn that's fast! Also it pays to bundle. My 2 heavy items were supposed to cost $25 and $14 to ship. The other 2 things are light enough for free shipping. Well I only got charged $35 to ship all of them, and 2 are UPS and 2 are FEDex. All are from different warehouses also! How can they make money like this?

Actually, I know how. Their prices were a bit higher than other sites. I priced out everything I ordered and probably paid 5-8% more than other places. However I knew they were dependable because I ordered 2 monitors from them before and to me, that's worth piece of mind.

Also they have a great return policy so that was a huge plus also! No restocking fees. Try that at the cheap places. NO go.
