"I wish I could comment on the quality of the actual controllers (from seeing other reviews it seems pretty hit and miss) but I never even got around to getting them. Ordered two controllers in April for my wife as a gift. Her birthday was end of June. After reading their order process I figured it was enough time. June came and went. Trying to contact someone to figure out what was going on was a nightmare. Finally managed to contact "Matt" who appears to be their only customer service individual. Excuses. Never got them. Awful service. 4 months and no product. Go elsewhere. "
"My wife became heavily into the Nintendo Switch, and I was planning on giving her a custom-made Switch Controller that she would love. I spent a lot of time designing it, changing the colors until I found the perfect design. I only had one specification on the controller and mentioned that the splatter paint on the front face is not too congested, and instead resemble cow print. I ordered this design on 12/27/2023, with 2-3 day shipping and RUSHED PROCESSESING which they state would allow up to 14 days for the process to finish. As the weeks went by, my order status would not change, I called twice and they gave me a generic reply that it would be sent out in a few days. My wifes birthday was 1/29/24. That day passed and it became February 22 and I called again, they stated it was in the airbrush department and that they were working on my specifications that I gave them, no real detail, but he said it will be sent in a couple of days, at this point they reimbursed me for the shipping and rushed processing. Five days later, no change in status, I called and Matthew answered. I was angry, and i took it out on him, and I apologize for that, but I kept hearing the same thing over and over again, and it was 2 months since my order. I asked for a picture of my controller to verify that it was real. He said it was in the air brush department and he could not go in as he needed PPE gear to get in. He said he would send me a picture of my controller by the next day. The next day came, no picture, I called, and it was Matthew again, I asked for my picture, and he was unable to give me a picture. At this point I asked to speak with the operations manager and/or the CS manager, I was denied. I asked for a refund. Sure, I was refunded for everything, but it is disappointing, not because things happen and delays occur, I understand that; but it was because I was not given any type of reassurance, nor was I given the opportunity for someone to make amends with me during this process. I was lied to, and they could not give me clear answers. I will never again use this site, nor will I ever recommend this site to anyone else.
For those who answered my calls, I thank you for doing your job, and this is not your fault, but there should be some accountability in your managers. Not once did they reach out or try to have me filled in on the process. Thanks for wasting my time!"
"Nightmare customer service experience. Product never received after months of waiting. No updates. They didnt even send a confirmation e-mail with the order, I had to call customer service for it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY"
"BUYER BEWARE. These guys have essentially taken my money and provided no product. I've contacted my bank to be sure that I'm not mistaken and they tell me that my card was charged and the money claimed but Controller Chaos continue to say they haven't received payment. When I sent the evidence that I was charged they continued to gaslight me, telling me they can send me the invoice to pay and at one point even telling me THEY had contacted my bank (they hadn't) and the money was never charged. No real attempt from Matt in customer service to communicate with me or help me find out where the money went. I'm down $350NZD and no controller for my kid. Either way I'd suggest buying from a more professional outfit like LaZa Mods or XL Team on Etsy."
