"Went to sell cards to them and everyone was rude. No where on the site did it say how to organize the cards nor what cards they did and didn’t accept. So a few hours after dropping off the stuff to be looked through, I get a call saying that they’re not going to process it because they weren’t in order of the buy list. I had to go back up to the store, reorganize all the cards according to the buy list for them to even look at them and then it took another 4 hours for them to even go through the cards and in the end, they didn’t even buy all of it. If condition is a problem, fine, I accept that not all the cards are mint/nm, but maybe next time just go through the stack and just pull what you’re not going to buy and get done with it. The entire operation feels like a joke. The person going through my cards was also helping other customers who were also selling and he was running the Pokémon tourney going on, even though there were multiple other employees in the store who were doing nothing. Been the worst place I have ever sold to. Was thinking of getting store credit but I looked at the singles they have for sale and surprise surprise, they hardly have anything in stock. Maybe if they would just buy cards in whatever condition, like all other card stores do, they might have actual stock. Don’t buy from them, don’t sell to them, it isn’t worth your time or effort. There are better places that you can buy and sell to that actually want your business and will treat you right. Cool stuff isn’t it. "
"Unfortunately, I spent a lot of money on some TCG cards that were all listed as Near Mint yet had whitening on nearly each one. Slightly worn edges, white visibly exposed, and slight scratching on a holo card. This is NOT near mint condition. I just wish they were honest about the quality of the cards they sell."
"CSI asks for card confirmation months after they charge you. In my case, I used a digital card and when the new card arrived, I couldn't access the old one. So they just cancelled the order, which had great deals. No alternative was offered. Contact by phone was rude. This was for a "hold" order. They have no problem keeping my money for weeks. I would not recommend them."
"I purchased something kinda silly. It was a car/drone for about thirty bucks. Believe me this is not about the money, it's about the integrity of the outside sellers that Amazon is allowing to sell on their website. I really hope that Amazon is not turning into Wish. Long story short, I was promised a replacement drone that would be shipped but with no remote control and that was fine with me, but after almost a week and a half I still hadn't received it. So I had to contact them ( instead of them contacting me ) and I was told that it was unavailable even after they said it was shipped. And if it was unavailable, then how did they continue to sell them that whole time on Amazon??!"
"CoolStuffInc's prices looked too good to be true, so before I checked here before I made my order. It looked like most negative reviews were about incorrect advertised condition of MTG cards. I was buying board games, not MTG cards so I decided to go for it.
Damaged Item
One of the board games I received had a slightly damaged box. The items in the package were packed very well with appropriate bubble wrap, so the cynical part of me thinks they may have put in a damaged item to see whether I would notice and complain.
Fair Customer Service
Their customer service was a bit curt but courteous. They offered me a 15% discount on the item, which I declined. Without too much insistence from me, they agreed to replace the item. The item arrived in perfect condition.
Slow Shipping - 12 days to CA
The original shipment and the replacement shipment were some of the slowest I've encountered in recent memory. They were shipped via FedEx Home Delivery, and took 12 days to get from FL to CA.

"I purchased a card from this company for $30. It arrived and was put in a sleeve and binder. Later I purchased a card from another vendor that had been fake. Deciding to test the cards of high monetary value under a black light, I checked to find the inking was much darker and lacking the phosphorescent quality used by WotC. I sent out an email asking me to send it back via standard shipping. Upon doing so, I also inquired why all my packages have been doubled or tripled up in the same envelope. My friend had the same issue with this. Once this happened, they investigated to find they had taken $10 worth of shipping this way, but could only authorize to put it on store credit in the form of a gift certificate, which I reluctantly accepted.
2 days later, I received an email about the card. I want to say, I mailed this in one of the priority mail USPS Priority mail stiff envelopes, in a penny sleeve with a top loader inside of a standard envelope. They told me the card was creased and I was not allowed a refund, conveniently after pricing has changed on this quite a bit. I was then told the rep, Chris, would go ask and examine the envelope and card for damage and photographs. He came back telling me it was in just an envelope, to which I called him out on, then he said the toploaders still allow cards to be damaged. I told him, if it's creased inside a toploader the envelope you saw should have been damaged too. I then pointed out how suspicious it was that I recently caught them skimming on shipping, had been sold a questionable card, returned it damaged for inspection, and that I was to now believe it was damaged in hard plastic with no visible damage to the envelope? When I asked about the card itself, he said he didn't personally see the damage, then stated the woman who handles returns took a day off, as well as that he could not find the card and "Maybe she's already mailed it back to you, I don't know." I told him this gets even better now as my possibly fake card that I purchased from them is now damaged and missing, he can't show the damage when questioned, and if it is found, I'm going to take the hit for this, despite it not being used upon me receiving it. He stated he was the only person and it wasn't a call center and that I had the wrong impression. I argued that it's irrelevant and I was told if I have nothing else to say, he'll talk to her but he needs to go because he has other customers to talk to. Do NOT buy from these people. Stealing shipping, reports of false "damage", counterfeit issues, missing products, I don't think there's much more to say to their credibility than that. Reported to BBB."

"Unbelievable. I didn’t even know it was legal to conduct business this poorly. Purchased multiple items from CSI through multiple orders. All 4 orders were put on hold because of one inventory issue with a set of two dice that were “no longer in stock due to an inventory discrepancy“. I asked them produce what was listed in their inventory and ship it out to me... they had already pulled the money from my account. They instead refunded all 4 of my orders without even asking my consent. Cool stuff inc is only in the business of wasting time. Their staff is incredibly rude. Don’t waste your time or your money. Buyer beware. "
"Ordered two weeks ago, just a few individual DBS TCGs i needed to build a deck. Got called a few days after ordering saying they couldn't ship because my shipping address didn't match the address on my card? So when i got off the line with them, i went on the site, made sure that EVERY place i COULD enter my address was both accurate and matched each other. Waited a day, checked the site, my order is still "on hold". Called them again later that day, no answer. Called the next day, no answer. Just checked my order status again and it is still "on hold". Starting to think ive been had and am not getting my items. Though, they ALREADY TOOK MY PAYMENT OUT OF MY BANK BEFORE THEY SHIPPED. And their site does not have a order cancel option. Seems like a scam. Many elements of one, at least. Do not recommend."
"Ordered a booster box with expedited shipping to get it here for a draft night with some friends while they're in town. Five days later they call me to verify the billing info cause it's an order over $250, meaning I paid the shipping for no reason cause they didnt even look at it till almost a week later. Now I have a box coming late and no one to draft it with. Also there was no warning about the billing verification."
"I was a long time customer of this site and this latest experience has soured me. They shipped me a damaged product, replaced it with another damaged product, then a final time with a defective product and told me to deal with the manufacturer, but the defect was on the outside and they sent it to me after already sending me two damaged items. At least they are good enough to return and refund (after 3 times)."
