I would definitely order from them again. Site is not laid out as well as a Newegg or similar, but if you know what you want it's easy to find."

"As with several other reviewers, Cost Central processed an order for the HP Elite Book 6930p Laptop with 17 showing In Stock, which appeared on my order confirmation. Shortly afterwards on the same day, I received an email saying the product was back ordered and would not be available for 2-3 weeks. My attempt to find out how they can show so many available and not be able to ship were met with a threat of cancellation of the order, even though I explained that this computer was essential for an International Business meeting. Advertised price and availability are why I chose to buy from them. I spoke with Mary. It is interesting to note that the company has not responded to ONE complaint or negative review in this form that was posted for this very same practice. I would not order from them online if the item is advertised with a hot "come on" price. Best to call and make them send you written guaranteed confirmation that the item is available for immediate shipment at that price. This is a common deceptive practice that now constitues business as usual for a growing number of online stores. SHAMEFUL."

Purchased a printer. Once set-up I discovered it did not meet manufacturers online specs. Not Cost Central's fault. I asked to return even though machine not actually defective. Normally cannot do that once opened and used. Cost Central went back to distributor and got me permission to return. I had to pay re-stocking fee and return shipping.
Better than wasting $750.00
I am impressed. Am buying a replacement from them even though it is slightly more expensive than available elsewhere on the 'net. Customer service is worth it."

I made an urgent 2nd-day air order to reach my colleague's address in NY before he flies out. The sales rep was delightful and assured me it would be fine. BUT... many hours later I got a call saying there's a problem with the order, which quickly turned to a totally rude and unprofessional "fraud supervisor" Mary saying they will not process my order and hanging up the phone on me. They stated such obscure reasons as my phone being in CO (it is not...)
I called back, trying to work around that obnoxious Mary.. They wasted nearly 2 hours of my time verifying all sorts of information, all of which I went to all the effort of providing them.
Finally, they still said they won't process the order, which I am quite certain is because it became too late in the day for them to ship it a 2-day air, and they'd have to incur about $50 extra shipping charge for sending it overnight so that it gets there on time. SHAME ON YOU!!
I have shopped in countless stores before and never seen such horrendous service.
I'll never deal with this company again, and I highly recommend you keep away from it too. Occasionally you could get lucky with them I guess, but once something goes slightly wrong you can expect much agony."

"I had ordered 24inch IMAC. I order it over the phone. The company rep Kevin was very nice and professional. He explained that I would receive order confirmation and tracking information soon. I did receive order confirmation via email. However the next day I received and email saying that the item I ordered was out of stock. I was very surprised to hear that as when I placed the order their website showed over 40 items in stock. I was given the option to wait for the company to restock the item or cancel my order. I have picked the first option and was told it might take 2-3 weeks (with the option to cancel it before the company ships the item). I will update that review to specify how long it actually took.

"I was good to use Cost Central. They gave me a cheap price. But the shipping was too high. Instead of fed-x they could of shipped it via priority mail USPS and charged me less on the shipping. I will use them again there is something else that I need for my computer and i know that i can trust them now. "
