"I took my boat to Crowley Marine for an acceleration problem and some maintenance. They test drove the boat twice for the acceleration problem and charged me $525.00 to tell me I need to drop the prop size. Crowley Marine switched the prop and put on a 17-pitch prop for the test drive, Crowley commit with the 17-pitch prop, and I quote “found it took a bit long to get on plane”. I have had my current prop for APX. 10 years and never had an acceleration problem until lately. I requested the fuel lines to be replace from the fuel tank to both motors. Crowley out right lied to me when I asked them if they replaced the fuel lines, they said they replaced both lines. I cheeked and found out they replaced APX. 2 feet of fuel line on one motor. Crowley could not diagnose the acceleration problem, so the acceleration problem still exists, and they out right lied to me about the fuel lines. Crowley boats is a joke with terrible service."

The local Mercury parts distributors in Melbourne were quoting 3-months deliver because Mercury Marine Australia had sold out and were waiting for a container to be delivered from USA which had the spare part that I wanted,
..... Imagine in todays world shipping by sea-freight just to save a few $??? and with summer peak boating season slowly slipping by????

"Crowley Marine has no business being in the online market. They can't keep up with orders, they make promises they can't keep and they keep your money and marine parts hostage while your boat sits idle and unusable. Crowley Marine is a joke of a business. I wish I would've looked at other reviews before I ordered from them. Please don't make the same mistake I did. I waited over two months for parts and they never arrived. Customer support ensured the parts were in stock and that they would ship within 2 days and they never came. I requested a refund and did not receive it."

Checked order, at ten days, and still not even processed. After several emails, finally got one with a phone number for support staff. Called, and cancelled order. I checked their web page. They have a lot of office people. And, only a few people listed as "warehouse" workers. That should have been a clue. Avoid this business. And, save yourself from a headache."
