Second Chance

"Most of us, as mortal human, do believe in 2nd chance. That' what I did. I was quite disappointed during my 1st visit at the Curry's Auto store to have the Oil Change Plus promotional discount. The mechanics just changed the oil and no PLUS service. I was not in the confrontation mode and simply took my car home. Several day later, I took my time to provide my input in a online review.

I was quite surprised to receive a call from one of the Curry's Auto customer representative about my disappointment of the "less than PLUS" service I received and he told me Andrew, the shop manager, would give me a call to correct the less than PLUS service. Andrew did call and I decided to give his store a 2nd chance, took the car back for the full PLUS service. He did a complete full PLUS service and apologized for 1st visit error.

Now I'm a very satisfied customer.

Still trying to find a shop I trust

"We took our jeep in for an emissions test. When it didn't pass, they offered to run a diagnostic test for $125. Hmm, no thank you. Went home, tightened up a couple loose bolts on the exhaust, easily visible, went back and it passed. Not complaining about paying for work and didn't expect anything free but if you can't think enough to see the problem like that then I don't want you working on my car. I think they are a car shop for someone who doesn't want to pay attention to their car, just wants it repaired and doesn't care about the cost. "

Car Broken AFTER Curry's Auto Fixed It.

"Took my car into Curry's to have the safety and inspections done. $1,975.82 dollars later and now my car jiggles when I start it up, the check engine light is on and one time it almost would not start. I left it to be fixed for over a week. My back window was left open during several rainy days with shoes and a tarp being ruined. Curry's never texted me or emailed me to let me know any progress or if/ when it would be done. They could have called...my voice mail is not set up... but I have them in my contacts and their name was never in my missed calls.
I fianally had to pick it up because I needed to use my car and it is still the same. Rattle/jiggle when I start it, engine light on and stalls sometimes.
So, do I have them try and fix the mess they made? Or go somewhere else. I really do not have money to throw away like this. Who does?

"What makes Currys stand out in an industry that has ,to put it mildly, a tarnished reputation is the quality and personality of the personnel. I have only used the Curry store in Leesburg Va. The personal in that store are as customer friendly as any business I have come across . They are knowledgeable, professional,and eager to please thier customers.
It appears to me that Currys pricing is comparable to others in the auto service industry. The add on charges that exist here (shop fees etc) are bs but have become an industry standard. Price is not why I bring my cars th Curry... It's all about service, ..from a group of well managed people that truly understand Customer Service,,
