"DON'T BUY FROM THEM!!! Buyers be advised, they will sell you product they don't have and command crap from China to your door and it takes a lot of time to deliver"

Don’t deserve 1 star

"This company is a joke. They do anything in order to not fulfill their lifetime warranty. They product has went to trash. 3 HID’s our of 4 burned out in less than a month. "

Sent bad bulbs, refuses to help

"They sent non-working led bulbs and refuse to send a replacement unless I can send a picture of where they are physically damaged. But that is impossible because something is not working on the inside. They are slow walking the return process and take over a day to reply, then when they do, they do not read any previous messages and start over. They are playing dumb so they don’t have to honor their crappy products"

No reply

"I orderd a set of HID's after a 1.5 months q stopped working. They told me to send pictures, I did then after that no reply, emailed with a follow up still no reply. So much for life time warranty...would not buy again or reccomend. "

Poor Customer Service

"I ordered the incorrect HID set. Inquired about an exchange and they refused to waive the shipping. They nickel & dime you for everything. Planned to spend $60 on the set and will end up losing after returning the item. Do not use them. I do not recommend them. There are other companies that have better service and products."

DDM Has Gone Way Down Hill

"I had been using them for my HID and LED lighting needs for almost 10 years but after my last experience I will be ordering my stuff from somewhere else and will no longer be recommending people to them. I ordered a set of LED headlight bulbs for my truck nearly two weeks ago and as of today the tracking number shows it still has not even made it to US Customs. Their solution when I complained was to tell me to send a ticket requesting US shipping right after placing my order next time. In the day and age where I could order a set of bulbs from a dozen sellers on Amazon and have them here within a couple of days using my Prime membership asking the customer to jump through hoops to get their item in a somewhat timely fashion is unacceptable. Very disappointing. The only reason I'm even giving them two stars is for the years of decent service and pricing I got from them in the past. I'll probably be ordering either from Amazon or https://www.theretrofitsource.com/ from now on."

Worst company ever to deal with

"What a freaking joke. They have the most arrogant punk employees to deal with, in person and on phone. If you are lucky to reach them by phone, they will not listen to you. You can hear laughing, talking in the background and the clown you're talking to isn't even listening to you. Read all the rest of the reviews, they are all the same. We buy it under he assumption that the product works. If it don't work, send us a refund or new part. Don't make us find out what the problem is. "

"Had the HID's for three years the whole ballast and bulb went out.. Make me go through extensive testing that lasted multiple days.. Finely received this back..

Thank you for contacting us about the difficulty you are experiencing with one of our products. We apologize for the trouble and look forward to providing you with the best resolution so you can enjoy your DDM Tuning products as soon as possible.

For HID kits components warranty, we offer five different warranty procedures:

1) Standard warranty procedure. We will send you the RMA instructions, which you can follow to send in the original defective component. After we receive it, we will test it and replace any defective parts. You will be responsible for the shipping to us, however the replacement part is free and we will cover the return shipping back to you. (Please keep in mind; our warranty does not cover physical damage, modifications, or water damage)

2) Advance replacement procedure. With this procedure you will be required to pay for the replacement part to be sent to you. You will have a 30-day window to process the return on the defective component to receive a refund for the part. Please note the shipping fees are not refundable for the advance replacement orders.

3) Upgrade to Ultra component procedure. Instead of sending in the defective component, you can simply cut the wire from the original defective part (physically damage it) and send us an image. Then pay for an upgrade fee for the part ($15/pr for Ultra bulbs; $15/pc for Ultra ballast). We will still cover the replacement part shipping fee, and send you the Ultra part directly.

4) Upgrade to a whole new Ultra kit procedure. With this option your current kit will qualify you for a partial credit towards the upgraded kits cost. We offer both standard upgrade replacement kit and advance upgrade replacement kit. We will cover the Upgrade kit shipping fee as an added bonus!

5)Upgrade to a whole new Saber Pro 50W LED headlight Kit. With this option your current kit will qualify you for a partial credit towards the upgraded kits cost. We offer both standard upgrade replacement kit and advance upgrade replacement kit. We will cover the Upgrade kit shipping fee as an added bonus!

Terrible quality. Awful customer service.

"This company is a freaking JOKE! I purchased the DDM HID Kit, 55W, H11, Ultra 6500K Bulbs and it didn't even last a year before one side went out! They wanted me to do all this testing and diagnose the issue so I could determine which component of the kit was defective and then send that to them. I'm sorry but isn't that their job to diagnose the issue? I just wanted to exchange the kit or get my money back but they would not do either. I could send them more money though to upgrade to the better kit! BEWARE OF THESE CROOKS!! They will sell you poor quality products and then not stand behind their so called "warranty" when you have a problem. Their customer service is terrible because all they do is deflect the issue and try to blame the problem on your vehicle. Don't waste your time and money with these RIP-OFF artists! There are way better sites out there to get your HID kits from that are better quality and better pricing! I only wish I had purchased my HID kit from them through Amazon that way I could at least file a complaint and maybe get my money back! Hopefully my complaint with the BBB and this review along with others will cost them some business! I can only hope!!!!!"

Terrible customer service

"Ordered a pair of headlight bulbs from this company. Received bulbs after 15 days. Mistakenly ordered the wrong bulbs. Contacted DDM for refund, was told that I would receive a return shipping label. After waiting several days and not receiving shipping label, contacted DDM once more. This time was told I would be sent a return shipping label. When I mentioned involving the bank, they attempted to negotiate with me, but still refuse to provide a shipping label. Purchasing a shipping label myself would cost more than the amount of my refund. Needless to say, will never purchase from them again. "

Buyer beware, don't waste your time or money.

"My husband asked for lights from here for his birthday, I ordered them in November and was told 7-10 business days. Well, those days fly by and the lights are still in China. I send them a message asking how much longer, they reply that they've contacted their shipping agent and will let me know. I never hear back on the matter. Two+ weeks ago I send another message saying how upset I was, I receive a reply that they've shipped another order and to keep both when they arrive as compensation. Both are still in China. I message them last week asking when they'll arrive, get the same "we've contacted our shipping agent and will let you know" reply. Haven't heard back. Needless to say, if I'm not issued a refund as I just requested, the charge will be disputed on my card.

Save yourself the trouble, take your business elsewhere.

Lifetime warranty a joke, reliability not there, customer service non existing

"I have at least 3 kits from them over the last 3-4 years. the last 2 i bought were ultra hid kit h11 5500k 55w.
One of the bulbs dimmed, after a year they dont qualify for warranty.
No discounts towards a new kit either. Customer service leaves the chat while you wait for an answer.
All sorts of good stuff with them
Bye bye DDM Tuning.
Plenty more brands with this reputability for half the price

Slow service/bad product

"I ordered an HID kit in December. Took three-four weeks to receive it then had to replace both bulbs since. Warranty was good at replacing bulbs no cost (asides from my having to cover initial shipping costs) but it took WEEKS to receive replacement. They never get my address right either even though I've entered in the correct information. They sent to my street with NO NAME/NO NUMBER just a street name. Thankfully I at least had a tracking number to trace it. Never buying from them again"
