Called DIY, was informed to contact courier to pick up item. Assumed, DIY will ship a new product. No other communication was received from DIY. Called DIY was informed will follow-up and get back to me. Never heard from again and only noticed a credit on my card for the item."

"I am simply shocked at my experience with DIYMicro. I ordered a pair of headphones which turned out to be defective. After I paid $15 to ship the headphones back (insured), I was told that the headphones are recalled by manufacturer and will not be sent a replacement. Any emails I wrote to CustomerService were not responded to. I wasted my time and money with this company! I will never do any business or recommend DIYMicro to anyone I know!"
"Ordered a Nikon 28-300mm lens from DIY Micro back in February as they had a very good sale going on at the time. Although the website gave no indication of the lens being refurbished, I received exactly that. It didn't come in Nikon's signature gold box, but in a plain, white, cardboard box. The lens also had small pinhole sized markings on either side of the serial number, indicating a refurbished product.
Unfortunately for me, I didn't pay much attention to this lens as I was waiting for the D800 I recently ordered to come in. No point in a lens if you don't have a camera yet. Anyway, when my camera finally did get here, 4 months later, I opened this lens up to find what I mentioned above. Needless to say, I was quite disappointed. There's probably nothing that can be done now because of my mistake, but at least I'll know not to shop there anymore."

"The single worst place to buy. Poor communication, slow order fill. They don't stock and don't show that in listing. Ordered a dishwasher and refrigerator on 5-2. Shipped 5-31. On 6-19 I still don't have it! I had to contact them 1 month after I placed order to confirm I still wanted items, was told it takes 7 day for shipping. It's been 22. Tracking info they sent has no detail. NEVER ORDER HERE!"

"I ordered an LG canister vac. It arrived in a timely manner, but the box was pretty torn up. There was no additional shipping container around the product box. I have some concerns that it might have been a previously opened box. The good news is that there were no missing parts, and the vacuum works great. I was disappointed that there was no invoice/receipt attached to the delivery, since this is necessary for warranty service. When I placed the order, I received an email confirmation which stated that an invoice/receipt can be printed from the "My Account" section of the DIY Micro website. However, the website does NOT display a "My Account" link! I called Customer Service, and the rep said he would forward my concern to their technical services dept. He emailed me another confirmation of my original order, with the amount charged for the product (but not a receipt), and stated that this should be adequate if warranty service is required... "
"I had little apprehension about buying from DIY Micro initially since it's my first purchase from this seller, and item is really expensive (>$2000). However, everything went smoothly and I got the item as described without any glitches. The only thing I wish DIY Micro could have done better is to reply my email, and have a better and faster shipment option. "
