"Good prices. I was pleasantly surprised when a rep called to clarify an item in my order. A couple of days after I placed the order (but well before anything was delivered), the price on one item was reduced by $13. I called and asked if I could get a refund, but was told 'no' because 'that's the way it goes.' Well within their rights I guess but not too customer oriented. Order was received missing two components that were indicated as shipped on the invoice. After a phone call to DLJ, I was informed that these two items were drop shipped from another supplier. Perhaps this is normal, but I would've expected to be notified in advance to expect two shipments instead of one. All in all, the prices were really good and the experience was OK. "
"GREAT SELLER!!!!!!!
I actually read the other feedback after I bought from them and it worried me. Lots of feedback said they try to "bait and switch" you with low prices--but this was not true in my case.
I bought a Soundblaster Audigy 2 Platinum card for about $30 less than all the other online retailers, and about $120 less than in-store retailers. A FANTASTIC DEAL!!
Shipping was fast, and the item seems to be in pristine condition (I still haven't installed it yet, but it physically looks perfect).
Very nice!"
"Sales support tried to do the right thing and management stopped them. I ordered a Sony DW-U12A. The drive arrived promply but was physically damaged. The damage was very easily seen, beyond simple asthetics and prevented operation of drive. I placed an RMA and returned the damaged drive. I recieved the replacement drive but, I was charged for the shipping of the replacement and was refused a refund of my cost to ship the damaged drive. If the drive had simply not worked from the mfg I would understand but the damaged drive should never have shipped to me and DLJ had control over this. The unnecessary shipping cost me $20.23. I should not have had to pay for DLJ's mistake"
"I went on Pricewatch, found an Athlon XP 3000+; theirs was the cheapest.
I clicked the "Buy Now!" button on Pricewatch, and found that their Athlon XP 3000+ ran at 3000 MHz. I know that there isn't an AMD processor out there that runs at 3GHz, so I decided to go to their website and look around, instead of being tricked into buying their "Marketing For Pricewatch" item. (I would've been appalled to find that after buying the processor, it had been overclocked.) I found what I wanted, paid for it, and went happily on my way.
The next day, I was told that they did not have it in stock. I was also told that the OEM version was on Pricewatch, and that I had found the Retail version on their website. Even though it was not in stock, I was able to buy it anyway?
The day after that, I went back to buy their OEM processor, and later that day, I recieved a call asking if I would like to cancel my first order; the processor that wasn't in stock. Sure enough, on their website shows my two orders right next to each other in their "Order Status" page.
They seem very organized, but I'm sure it's all in good intentions. Their website is easy to work with and find what you need (and there are so many that are the complete opposite), and they seem very attentive to help you with your problems."
"I was very impressed with both the low prices and speed at which my order was processed. I will definitely order from this seller again."
"I placed an order for a radeon 9800 Pro from DLJ System from their website for $299 plus shipping, printed a copy of the invoice, and received an email confimation of the product and the price on 6/20. I recieved this email on 6/23:

Craig,
Regarding your order, we made a typographical error and added the 9800Pro 128MB for $299 which it should have been the 9800 (non-pro) 128MB. The 9800Pro 128MB is actually $340. I do apologize for any inconvenience, I know you must be disappointed. The adjustment has been made in the store. Your card has not been charged so please let me know either by calling or replying to this e-mail if you just want to cancel. Thank you for your understanding and once again, I do apologize.
Sincerely,
Seija

I called DLJ to fix this problem. While on the phone with them, I looked for a 9800 NON-PRO on their website, and could not find one. DLJ looked for one on their website, and could not find one. I asked DLJ if I could buy a 9800 NON-PRO from them, and was told I could not because they DO NOT STOCK THE 9800 NON-PRO, NOR DID THEY HAVE ANY REFERENCE TO ONE IN THEIR COMPUTER! I asked them to complete my order, and DLJ said they WOULD NOT. I asked to buy the 9800 PRO that I had ordered, and DLJ said it would cost $340 plus shipping. I told DLJ that this is BAIT AND SWITCH, and that I would leave negative feedback at Pricewatch and ResellerRatings. I then gave DLJ one more chance to HONOR THEIR COMMITMENT, but they refused.

"I am extremely displeased with this seller, DLJ Systems!
They offered on their website a Sapphire ATI Radeon 9800 PRO 128mb TV-out DVI video card for $299.
I get a call 2 days later from a sales rep claiming that the price on the website was a typographical error and that they were offering the non-PRO card at that price and that the order I placed would not be honored. I contacted DLJ Systems to speak with the owner, Tony Wang. I began to explain what occurred and he put me on hold and switched me to someone else who then switched me over to the sales manager. She also claimed that there was a typographical error on the website and that they were cancelling all orders for the $299 price claiming it was a mistake and that if I wanted the card it would be $340 . A typographical error is a misplaced decimal point or misspelled word. This however is the very definition of BAIT and SWITCH! Offering a product at an attractive price then giving you some story about them being out of stock or advertised at an erroneous price and then trying to sell you something else more expensive. I would NEVER considering doing business with this company again and I plan to tell every price-comparison site and hardware forum of my experience. I expect the amount of future business and credibility this company loses will FAR outweigh taking the hit on a supposed price/description mistake.

"Contacted Sales Support and was greeted appropriately, spoke with a representative who answered my questions effectively and communicated well. Felt like I was making a good decision in the company I was purchasing from."
"Ordered some software on the llth was at my door on the 13th. Easy site to order from. recieved email notification when the order shipped and the software i ordered was about 30 bucks cheaper here than any other sites. I will probably order from them again."
"Ordered a Radeon 9500 Pro on the 20th of May with 2 day air shipping. Had the lowest of any seller with the 9500 in stock. Received the card on the 22nd. Easy to shop. I'll be back!"
"I ordered Intel D845PESV motherboard, a 2.4b motherboard, 2 512mg memory modules and a video card to go with this system. It was shipped by UPS groung taking 1 week to arrive and and the video card would not install on this system. After having a technician attempting to install the video card it was decided that it was bad. Then DlJ systems tolm me they only had 15 days return policy. They agreed to accept it but so far I have not received a refund and in the meentime it was found out that I was shipped an incompatible memory for this motherboard and was the reason for all the problem. I was also informed that 15% re-stocking fee would be deducted from the price of the video card. I would never ever buy from this outfit again and RECOMEND FOR THE BUYER TO BEVARE OF THIS OUTFIT. They do nbot know what they are selling and recomend things that are incompatible, as well as having a unfair return policy.

"order 153437 very good.
order 153621 waiting on. Ground ship so I no it will take longer. If it gets here like it say's
on april 1 it should be good. So far no problems with you all. The one thing I hate is when people
say they have it and they don't. Then they don't tell you for a good week laiter. So far you have had everything you said you had. For that I give you good high standards. (good business practice).
P.S. There's got to be a better way to check on your order other then with the last 4 digits of you c.card#!!
Good Job over all :^)
Thank you, Steve (Maddog)Q3"
"Very smart website design. They know what the consumer wants. Specifics about products were clearly stated. Anyone can appreciate that."
"Fast shipment of order, great prices.. very easy to deal with. I will do business with them again in the future!"
"Great response. Shipment came when expected. Hope to do business again."
