"If ONLY I had read these reviews before I sent my Gucci glasses to this wretched, boileroom scam operation for repair. Sent them the glasses along with one lens that had popped out. For starters, though I had been required to pay $14.95 up front for return shipping, they billed me an additional $12.00 for return shipping, which they said they "credited" to me after I complained. When I received the glasses back after about 3 weeks, my Gucci case had not been returned, and the glasses were missing the right lens. Someone named Karina told me they would replace both lenses, even though they would "lose money." Glasses were never sent. Numerous phone calls to Karina resulted in doubletalk, every corkscrewing grift known in Gotham, etc. Today she turned me over to some jerk named Tony, who mostly laughed, claimed they never got the missing lens, said I was "putting him to sleep," insulted me, the whole nine yards. Then he said he'd "talk to me tomorrow" about it. Yeah. I told him I'd file a complaint with the New York Consumer Affairs office and also be sending a letter to the New York Attorney General, Andrew Cuomo. Whatever you do, DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CON ARTISTS. "
"I purchase a pair of prescription glasses from decormyeyes and when I received them the lenses had swirl marks on them, one lense was too big and had a crack in it and the other one was too small and kept popping out.
I called them to complain and was told to send them back and they would repair them if it was their fault.
I shipped them back registered mail and have confirmation that they received them.
When I called they first told me they were repaired and had been shipped back, then when I called back a second time they said they hadn't received them and that I should put an insurance claim in, I informed them that I only had $100 insurance and then was told that I could just say I never received them and that they would put in a claim with UPS.
I was treated rudely by everyone I spoke to and was shocked that they would want me to falsely say that I never received them.
I wish I had read the feedback on this site before I ordered.
This site is the biggest scam and they should all be in jail."

"AWFUL!! Ordered Ed Hardy frames for prescription glasses and received Cavelli sunglasses. Not even close. Contacted them and they were clueless. Promsed to get me the eyeglass frames in time for my eye doctor appointment but never received them and no email explaining why. They even expected me to ship their sunglasses to the person who bought them!! I was willing to do it just to get my frames, but at this point I will only ship them out when I get my refund. Can't trust them at all. The customer service rep herself used these words when I asked her if I would get my frames in time for my appointment, "don't count on it" Just to let everyone know, I scheduled the appointment based on their email telling me when to expect the frames. I was supposed to receive them on Tuesday so I scheduled for Friday. Don't order from them, not worth the trouble. Pay the extra 20-30 dollars."

They dont have a record of what items are on stocks and which ones dont.
I paid for a frame and got an email some days later that they were not in stock. The sent me an option replacement that i didnt like. Then they give me more options to choose. I picked one and days later they told me that those frames were also out of stock. When i cancelled the order i got charge for $40 as a restocking fee. Why? The item i ordered in the first place was out of stock. Why do i have to pay for a restocking fee of something that was out of stock. Please stay away for this company, it was a painful experience and definitely a big no no in online shopping.

"I ordered a pair of Dior frames from Decormyeyes on the 22nd January 2009. I have received absolutely disgusting customer service from this company and would like to warn potential customers away from making any purchases via this site. The site specifically promises that there will be no additional custom fees, duties or taxes to pay on items, and I requested and received further assurance of this via email. However I have had to pay an extra £30 over and above the cost of my order on...custom fees, duties and taxes. I immediately took this up in a polite manner with the Customer Services team and have been utterly amazed at the general rudeness of these people. In fact, I don’t think I would be overstating the situation if I said that I have been outright lied to in order to make a sale. Despite assurances that they would refund the additional cost if I were to accept delivery of the frames and make the customs payment, I have since been told by the Manager of the company himself, who seems to handle all complaints, that it is not their problem after all and that "sitting in his New York office, he really doesn't care"! I was subjected to verbal abuse over the phone, told that I did not deserve the frames, not allowed to finish one sentence and eventually forced to put the phone down to stop him shouting abuse at me! I have since discovered one shocking review after another on the internet, some so ridiculously appalling I have laughed out loud, and wish I had come across these before. I have not bothered to keep fighting to resolve this as £30 is not worth the insanity of dealing with the Manager of this company."
"I searched a lot of online sites for frames. I was dubious about not being able to try on frames first, but their return policy was enough to reassure my initial hesitation. I first had an issue with an item that was discontinued, and they went the extra mile by searching their sources to find, and even alert me to other frames in the style that I might like as an alternate.
Frames arrived very quickly, were better than I expected, and their price and service couldn't have been better.
In a world of anonymous and "virtually" non existent customer service, particularly when shopping online, EyeWearUs/Decormyeyes went above and beyond. Will be back and telling friends.
I just reread a lot of reviews by others that have had problems with the CS there..and i have to say my experience dealing with Stanley the owner/manager? was never less than perfect, and even included an IMMEDIATE I mean minutes! ) partial refund to ny Card for a discontinued item. Who knows, maybe ya gotta be a New Yorker. they worked for ME! Capisce?

"All I can really say is avoid this site at all costs. I ordered 2 pairs of D&G 1130 eyeglasses off Mr. Bold's site. It took constant emailing and bickering back and forth with this guy to get them. Not to mention a telephone call at 5a.m. from him to explain that one pair had to be ordered from Italy. HAH! I paid for 2nd day air, and ended up receiving my glasses on the 1st of June. I guess 2nd day air turns into month air. I did receive my glasses in the end a month later, however on my 2nd pair it reads made in china, which basically says that it is a knock off. I wasn't even about to get into it with Stanley over this so I let it go. Well it turns out just a week ago I received an email from this guy asking me if I wanted to sell one of my pairs back to him and receive a discount on another pair of glasses. WHAT??!!! Why would I want to sell him back my glasses when I spent x amount of money getting them, and then paying to put lenses in them???? This guy is nuts, and all these other reviews that are positive must be fake or people who have no idea of customer service. This site is a fraud."

"This was the most disgusting experience I have had Internet shopping. I bought frames and they told me they had 1 in stock but it was damaged, then they found out it was a discontinued model. Okay, that's fine. I spoke with a woman on the phone who was unprofessional and not at all friendly. So I looked at other sites and found a couple more for sale. I bought the same frames and got a confirmation email, then got an email from decormyeyes saying "I see your order on my other website. I will have to refund you on that one as well." I told them to give me a list of all their websites because I didn't want to do business with them. They said "And you will do it 10 more times. I own all sunglasses websites on the east coast. On the 2nd one I will not refund you . Sorry I already warned you the 1st time stop shopping for this frame its not available. And you went and under minded me and did that. Sorry the money is confiscated." That email was almost laughable. I have never done business with someone this ridiculous. Anyway, we notified our credit card company and so far so good. These people are crooks! I wish I had checked this website before dealing with them."
