Ordered 19 days ago, Item still hasn't shipped

"Ordered on 7/1, never received any updates from company. Reached out on 7/11, received a short message back stating item will ship by next week and will receive tracking. As of today, 7/20 still no update on status. Contacted them again stating I would like to have my item canceled if it hasn't shipped. Received a very unprofessional email back, only stating the following: This cannot be cancelled it is in shipping process you would receive the tracking information by next week.
So I can't cancel, but it hasn't shipped. Its been in the shipping process for weeks now! I'm assuming this is fraud.

Horrible, Laying through the teeth

"We ordered a lamp and after about 2 weeks got a UPS tracking number.

Except UPS tracking shows the package was delivered to someone in New Jersey (we live in PA). Called and talked to this guy Roy who has an Indian accent. He said the package was delivered to their "store" in NJ and they check products before shipping out to their customers. Promised we would get a new tracking number in the following week.

A week passed and no tracking number. We called again and this time he said he needed to check with the manufacturer. When confronted with his own lie that during the previous week he told us his store will ship the lamp to us, he had the cheek and never to say "last week was last week. Today is today. things change.".

I am calling PayPay to cancel and get my money back. Should have heeded all the online comments.

Terrible business practices! They won't return my money after a return was completed following their ridiculous return policy.

"I made a purchase, the lights were okay, just too big so I contacted them about a return. I sent them back at my cost (insanely expensive because of the size of the boxes and they refused to even allow me to pay them for a return label so I didn't have to pay crazy retail rates). Their policy says a credit will be issued 14-21 days after the items are returned. More than 30 days later I contacted them about the refund and got no response. A few days later I contacted them again threatening a chargeback and online complaints/reviews and they were quick to get back saying they were working on it and would update me by end of day. Several days later no response and still no refund. I finally did a chargeback with my credit card and now keeping my end of the promise to leave negative reviews everywhere I can.

Bad business! Terrible service! And they won't refund you if you have a return. DO NOT PURCHASE from these people!

Unethical practice, lies, and poor communication

"I would give them zero stars if I could. The site is basically run by two people - Roy and Max - and they pick and choose when they want to pick up the phone, respond to emails, or when to deal with you via chat. I have too many detailed issues with this shell of a company to go into, but essentially I am strongly warning you NOT TO SHOP HERE. They do not honor their site price matching policy, they are unresponsive to any type of communication (phone, email, chat), and there is a HUGE communication barrier which they use as a crutch to imply why they don't adhere to their written policies ("Miss, you not understand"). This whole site feels like a lawsuit waiting to happen. Don't make the same mistake I did and be blinded by the very marginal undercut on products that they offer. Making a return with them is a true nightmare....they force you to adhere to these ridiculously stringent timing, packaging, and labeling guidelines and then take their sweet time on the backend to 'inspect' your product before they deem whether or not they will accept your return. Oh yes, and they only allow you send to it back FedEx or UPS and on your own dime. In full, DO NOT SHOP HERE. They are offshore scam artists and I have legal contacts looking into this 'business'"

HORRIBLE….LIARS

"First emailed to cancel order. Then called 2 days later after no response. Decided to call them. Then was told in order to cancel order had to send an email. So I sent another email. They sent back response order already processed can not cancel this order. To still have no delivery date they we be shipped. Emailed back asking for refund and they stated again they could not do so it’s to late order in process. Well the order was not even shipped yet as it shows on ticket order info. They leave me no choice but to take action on an alternative route to be refunded over $400.00. Do not use this site. They are not professional and they give you the run around. Should had read up on reviews prior. They could not even give me an expected delivery date. This makes no sense other then they are just wanting to take money and you wait it out hoping your forget. NOT!! Further action is to be taken. "

Horrible customer service and communication

"We are all living in a world of supply issues, I get it. The key is to communicate with your customers when you were having difficulties. Decorprice took my order for a high ticket item. They charged my credit card and said everything was getting ready to ship. Weeks later I sent an email asking what the status was. No answer. Then all of a sudden I get a return charge on my credit card from them. I called there customer service which is manned by an idiot in India and all he could say was the card was not charged. I sent an email and finally get a response from Roy. He tells me the manufacturer has a 4 to 6 week delay so he canceled the order. Didn’t bother to tell me that’s what he was doing, and further why couldn’t he wait out of 4 to 6 week delay??? Horrible customer service, stay away from this company, stay away!!!"

Definitely do NOT honor 30 day return policy

"I ordered a chandelier - light came and was open box where everything was smashed together and pieces were missing. They would not honor their return policy or even offer credit. This is what I get for not checking out reviews before I purchased. "

Customer service

"The Pendants got here and my general Contractor could not put up. Now that they tried , they are to big and wanted to replace them with smaller sized pendants... Decor Price does not care and said they can not return them or exchange them. We are stuck with $400 worth for no reason. And all we needed to do is get the smaller version of the same model.
Horrible experience on top off the uncomfortable situation during remodeling our home. You would think, since they were not opened, just a mistake in measurements from the contractor's part. And now we are stuck with these that are to big for the area.
Please DO NOT purchase from this company that have no remorse!

Item arrived broke - but excellent service to make it right

"I ordered a light sconce for my bathroom. One of the glass shades arrived broke. I emailed for assistance and was able to get a replacement piece ordered. Unfortunately, when it was installed "sparks flew" as one of the sockets was bad. At that point, we realized it was just a lemon fixture (poor QC at the manufacturer level). My customer service agent at DecorPrice reached out a second time to the manufacturer for support and this time they opted to send out a completely new fixture. Obviously, it's been a disappointment that it didn't work right out of the box. I know many people would only give 4 stars in this situation, but being these issues were not due to DecorPrice, I can only rate them based on the areas within THEIR control. The service and responsiveness has been great. It should give customers confidence that if you buy something and there's a problem, you aren't stranded and frustrated. "

Prompt delivery, great price

"I needed two Matthews fans for our back porch and was a little skeptical because DecorPrice’s price was significantly lower than anyone else’s. But they were listed on Matthews Fans’ website as an approved vendor, so I decided to take a chance and am so glad I did! The fans arrived very promptly, and the boxes were in pristine condition - clearly a brand new product. Installation went well so I can’t speak to customer service, but the delivery was an A+ experience. "
