Recently, I purchased a pair of earrings and matching pendant; after debating between round cut or pear cut, I selected the pear cut. "During the Black Friday sale, I bought a Christmas present for my girlfriend. She did not care for it. I applied for a return on December 27. The customer service agent got right back to me, saying that on the 28th my 30 day return window would close. Without my quick thinking, I would have been stuck with them (Or so I thought. See Diamond Nexus' response). Return shipping was free and the return went very smoothly. Three business days after sending the earrings my refund has not posted, but surely it will post soon.

The service was top notch, and I will be back to buy her something else. We both like the combination of artificial stones and real gold.

One star off for the unusually long studs on the Martini stud earrings that poked my girlfriend's head. I have seen screw back studs before, and they were not this long. Another reviewer exchanged screw back studs for tension studs. I think this is a problem. Still, they were beautiful stones in otherwise nice settings.

I will buy from Diamond Nexus again, and I recommend it to anyone. As always, just don't buy presents too far in advance of the day you will give the present."
