"I have edited two books previously and used an independent publisher. While they were helpful and pretty available, they cost the author additional money to set up the books, and for other services. My biggest complaint was that when they pulled my document into their software, lots of text and formatting was changed and I had to spend much of time going through a book I have thought was finished making many, many corrections, then describing them to the publisher because they had to make the corrections. When I found Diggy Pod, and discovered that they work from PDF files, I was thrilled. I was able to prepare the book to my satisfaction and know that when I formatted it as a PDF it was fixed. Their site is easy to use and has many helpful videos. When you call you get a person, not an electronic menu. I recommend them highly. You just have to be aware that you will have to copyright the book yourself (not difficult, but requires a little research) and get your own ISBN number (they have info on their site to make that easy). You also do not have the built in ability to sell you book--that's in your court. So, depending on your project and needs, Diggy Pod is the best! I was able to print the books for a lower cost per book than going with my former independent publisher. Oh, and they work quickly. I had 200 books at my home about in about a week and a half after submitting my approved manuscript, cover and back, with no shipping charges. "
