"My first impression of DiggyPOD was based on the website. The information is specific and helpful. I was very impressed. Even if I didn't use DiggyPOD for our printing needs, I bookmarked several pages to use as resources.

My next impression was based on my interactions with Valerie on the phone. She was super helpful, friendly, and patient with all of my questions and concerns. It is a huge benefit to have a real person I can call and talk to at every step of the process who will respond in a timely manner.

During the pre-printing process, our manuscript pdf was flagged because the font color was not 100% black. However, when I pointed out that I ran the pdf checker and it said the font color was fine, Valerie offered to fix it on their end without charging me. While they were at it, they found and fixed another issue for no charge. I was very happy with this level of service.

The only reason I did not rate DiggyPOD 5 stars is the shipping. The way the books are packaged results in multiple books being significantly damaged during packaging and shipping. It is also difficult to remove the books from the box without risking damage. We did not experience this issue with the last company we used, in fact not a single book arrived damaged from them, and the only difference is the packaging. I sent Valerie pictures to show the difference in packaging and sincerely hope they address this problem as it will impact our decision whether to use DiggyPOD in the future. While I appreciate that DiggyPOD sends replacement books for those damaged, it is very time consuming to inspect every book and take pictures and notes of the damage. Also, several of the replacement books had similar damage, which is always going to be the case unless the packaging changes. "
