"I have had two books printed through Diggypod. Both books were someone else's work, and I edited and prepared them for publication. They were very different projects, but both needed to be completed quickly. The first book was the memoir of an elderly man. He had a stroke the week after the order was submitted, but he did live to see the result, and he was very pleased. The books have been a real gift to his friends and family. The second book was a sermon collection by a pastor who had received a serious cancer diagnosis. Diggypod's informative website and patient customer service representatives were very helpful in guiding me through the process of registering the copyright, obtaining an ISBN number, and applying to the Library of Congress for a control number before the book was published. The tools Diggypod supplies for converting Word documents to pdf files and checking them before submission assisted me in preparing the files for submission. I ordered a bar code from Diggypod as recommended on the website. I included a $35 file fix option, and that money was refunded when no fixing was needed. I placed the order on a Thursday morning, as a super rush. I expected that the printing might be complete by Monday and the boxes might arrive by Wednesday. Instead, the printing was completed and the books shipped out on Friday, the next day. They arrived early Sunday morning. The pastor, who is receiving hospice care, has been able to see the books, and we are so grateful for that. I wonder if the folks at Diggypod made a special effort to expedite this project because they knew how much we wanted the books to reach the author before his death. Even with super rush handling, the cost was affordable. The book itself is beautiful with a glossy durable cover and crisp printing on every page. Whether my next project is urgent or not, I will be returning to work with Diggypod."
