"Despite the items on the site all saying 'Ships within 24 hours' and placing the order very early HK time on a Thursday, the order didn't ship until the following Monday, due to 'security checks'. The customer service rep I spoke to a couple of times in the interim, while very friendly, could provide no further information about when the order would ship.

Now, granted, this was only an issue for me because I needed the lens I ordered for the upcoming weekend, and in the end it did arrive in time, but it did nothing for my stress levels to see my order sitting on 'verifying payment information' for over 48 hours.

This aside, I was satisfied with the process, and if I hadn't have been under certain time constraints it would have been no problem at all to wait. The shipping itself was very fast, and I will most likely shop with DigitalRev again."

Of course the Canon Kiss x5 is the Japanese model, so it was expected that the manual and other booklets were gonna come out Japanese. "I ordered a canon lens one Sunday lunchtime and it arrived on the following Wednesday morning. It was very well packaged and in first class condition. I tracked the order via DHL from a digitalrev email link that took me straight through to the package status page. I was able to track the package from Hong Kong right through to delivery which is interesting in its own right (I must be sad)! I ordered a number of items through Amazon at the same time thhat were delivered within the UK but I had to wait a couple of days longer for those to arrive. "Being in England & ordering from Hong Kong to be honest I was a little concerned. My 70-300 f4-5.6L is usm lens arrived far earlier then I thought possible. The tracking service was also excellant. I ordered in the early hours of Friday morning & it arrived 2.58pm on following monday, just 4 days later. Totally brilliant service.
