"I thought long and hard before using DigitalRev, well I was about to spend a lot of money, so I checked their feedback on several sites including from their eBay customers and everything showed they were a long established and reliable company.

I chose to use DigitalRev on the basis of price and also because there would be no additional customs fees to pay, or if there were that DigitalRev would refund me for those fees (though only for orders placed using their website); not all Hong Kong based companies offer this guarantee. Shopping around, DigitalRev were among the cheapest, though I did find that the identical memory cards were available at a lower price locally so it still pays to look around.

Having completed my order the purchase was pretty straight forward, well apart from my own credit card company which blocked the initial payment as they saw this large order as unusual. Once I had assured my credit card company that it was a genuine purchase the order then went through smoothly.

After a short wait, DigitalRev needed to check that I was a genuine customer too so phoned me to make sure I was who I said I was, the goods were eventually despatched and arrived with me very quickly considering they came from Hong Kong. The camera came in the manufactures box with several layers of bubble wrap around it, then the DHL wrapping, so the packaging was sufficient for purpose though not super robust. As promised, there were no additional fees to pay upon delivery.

Everything that I had ordered was delivered, was as expected and the camera was to UK specifications (no foreign manuals and the video on the camera was to a PAL standard) so they performed just as promised.

No more doubts, I am a very satisfied customer and would happily use DigitalRev again.

I have ordered two expensive items from this company. I ordered a Canon EX580 Speedlight about two years ago and it arrived very quickly and in perfect condition. This was ordered through eBay.

On the 24th September 2012 I took the plunge and ordered a 5D Mark III with a £2004 price tag. it was £400 cheaper than the UK so seemed like a bargain. Ordered from Hong Kong I got the DHL tracking number within hours and was able to follow it across to the UK. Remarkably quick it arrived in perfect condition here 3 days later.
