I ordered a camera two weeks before my 4 year old son's birthday party and family holiday, but after long waiting our order had been lost in the post! After more than a week of waiting I had contacted the DigitalRev.com to trace the order, was told to check with DLR in London, did so, another long waiting for DLR to search the order within their 7 warehouses, and finally-one day before my son's party we got the answer which was they couldnt find it! so I emailed DigitalRev.com to complain (tried many times to call them within their working hours listed on their website, always answer machine!!), the reply was it was not their responsibility once the order been shipped! "Ordered from DigitalRev because i knew they had a good reputation. Some China based sellers were about £10 cheaper for my Lumix LX7 camera but it wasnt worth taking the chance.
Item was delivered within 5 days and there were no hidden charges.
I'm a little bit unhappy that DigitalRev have now reduced the cost of the camera by £25 since I bought it last week but hey, I suppose thats just the way it goes."

The shipping time was legendary, it arrived a day before the estimated dates. The packaging was etc was fine, the only thing I'm worried about is if it develops a fault...... "I have just recieved my Nikon D3200 lens kit plus another lens from DigitalRev.com and I must say how Awesome they have been. I made my order from the UK on Monday night after 9pm and my goods were delivered on Wednesday at about midday. Awesome!! My camera was as promised and I can't just can't fault a single thing. I was worried about having to pay customs for my parcel but DigitalRev sorted that as promised. I am still amazed how quickly it arrived but I guess its because we are just not used to recieving that sort of service here in the UK ;-) "

Brilliant e-mail support and responses.
I first mailed them a month before I placed the order, and sent them 15 + e-mails. All replied to swiftly & by the same person, so no confusion dealing with lots of other people as often happens with other Customer Support systems.

I paid by direct Bank transfer on Friday 14th Sept, so payment in their account by Monday.
On Monday I received an e-mail saying payment received, Tuesday parcel was ready for collection by the courier. Wednesday it was posted from Hong Kong at my local time of around 1200.
I had the package in my hands by Friday morning at 1100hrs Less than 48 hours from Hong Kong to Jersey, Channel Islands,UK. Amazing shipping speed.

Prices were good.
Not as Good as Camera Paradise's 'headline' price, but after Camera Paradise add a 'Clearance Fee' and exorbitant shipping costs, their price is more.
So bearing in mind this 'Clearance Fee' issue, I think Digital Rev could maybe go a bit lower in price

OK, so Digital Rev probably factor in this 'clearance fee' for UK orders within their prices, but they are still cheaper in the long run, and they do recognise the Channel Islands as separate to the UK, and have a lower price.

CP were also very quick to respond to e-mails, until I questioned them about this 'Clearance Fee' and the fact that as I am in Jersey not in the UK We have a 5% Sales tax, not the UK 20% VAT. But Cp still charge the same fee although it should be 15% less.
Also having checked with UK and local Customs...and the TARIC site

It appears Digital Cameras are 0% rated. So how did Camera paradise come up with £500 fee on a £3800 order?

I asked Camera Paradise on their Facebook page..guess what the post was deleted.

Camera Paradise appear to have cheaper prices then try to add a fee you may not be liable for.

"I ordered a samsung galaxy s3 from digital rev. All was good - cheap price, delivery took a while but it got here eventually. All was well until the phone broke, after only a few months. Samsung warranty did not cover it as the phone was not a UK phone. Digital rev adviser me to take the phone to get a repair quote. I did this, and received a very modest quote. Digital rev mulled over this quote for almost 3 weeks, before deciding it was too expensive and they wouldn't pay it. I insisted to be given a phone number and name of a manager. Digital rev then stopped replying to my emails.

Advice - Don't buy from digital rev, unless you want to be left with a new product that doesn't work."

"Terrific! Just 4 days from order to receipt, Hong Kong to Australia.
There's a really minor fault in the camera which, if bought locally, I'd just walk it back and ask for a new one. With this order I will have to live with it because the warranty itself is a hurdle."
