Dining Room Outlet Has Me Coming Back for More

"Just before the pandemic we bought a Liberty Furniture Magnolia Manor Gathering Table and six Magnolia Manor Splat Back counter height chairs. We love the set and completed at least a dozen jigsaw puzzles on it. When the set was delivered there was a slight glitch regarding assembly and Dining Room Outlet sent out a furniture tech who resolved the issue quickly and favorably. We are now looking for a dining room set to replace our old one and decided that we like the Liberty Magnolia Manor counter height set so much that we ordered a Magnolia Manor Pedestal Table and four Magnolia Manor Splat Back Upholstered chairs. The Dining Room Outlet sales rep, Jack, was extremely helpful in getting the order together and setting up out of state delivery and working with the price. We highly recommend this business"

Great savings but terrible delivery

"The savings were great, but time to get items delivered was terrible - and I had to make a total of 42 emails and multiple hours on the phone to get the items delivered even that soon!
I placed the order (11/12/22) over the phone with the salesman, Greg who told me that delivery would be within 4-6 weeks since he had confirmed that all our items were already in-stock at the two different manufacturer’s warehouses (one in NC and one in Atlanta – both close to me in NC). It took 9.5 weeks to get the initial shipment, and over 13 weeks until we got the two chairs that were missing from the initial shipment.
1st – Three days after placing the order I get an email saying those items have been discontinued and the order canceled. I had to make several phone calls to Dining Rooms Outlet (Emma Mason) to convince them that was wrong – after I had to call the manufacturers myself to confirm that the items were not only not discontinued but were popular items that they regularly make and stock in their warehouse.
2nd – Then, after the expected 4-6 weeks for delivery I haven’t heard anything and start to make inquiries. This started my many hours of trying to get information about the shipment and expected delivery. At first, I get short replies (phone or email) just saying things like, “we’re tracking it,” but no other information. When the order finally arrives at Emma Mason’s receiving warehouse from the manufacturer, I get told that it now has to be transferred to another “hub” (in a nearby city in NC – one warehouse was in Lexington, NC and the other in High Point, NC – only about ½ hour distance). This took several days. Then, Emma Mason’s delivery company, Deliveright, tells me that they only deliver to my area of NC (between Shallotte, NC and Wilmington, NC) every 21 days, and the next two scheduled delivery trips area already booked with others’ deliveries. So, it was going to be March before they would deliver my items. (I will mention that it was also VERY difficult to get information from Deliveright or even contact them. Their coordinators were located in Peru! I finally got a manager for Deliveright who was located in New Jersey. She was helpful at first, but then dropped the ball and didn’t get back to me for several days. But, in the end, she couldn’t get my order delivered any sooner and so I went back to Emma Mason to complain and request that they find another shipper to deliver my items. (This was January now.)
3rd – In the middle of these communications (my 42 emails from me – not counting their replies; and phone calls), we learn that 2 of the 6 chairs we ordered did not arrive at Deliveright’s hub from the manufacturer. So, we had to get those reordered.
By this time, Emma Masson (Success Manager, Drichsen Noble) had gotten very involved with my case, agreed that my delivery had gotten botched up, and did stay on top of getting both our initial shipment, and the subsequent re-ordered two chairs, delivered to us by a separate delivery company. In the last month, she did a really good job. But, I have to wonder if I would have even gotten my shipment by now, if I hadn’t pushed, insisted, and bugged Emma Mason with those 42 emails and hours on the phone through the whole process.
So, my recommendation to others would be – if you want to save a few hundred dollars and are willing to wait a long time to get your furniture, and/or have to spend countless hours in emails and phone calls, then go ahead and order through Dining Rooms Outlet (Emma Mason), otherwise, shop somewhere else.

The people are great, however...

"Jenette Collarte, Resolution Manager made a lasting impression. She is extremely kind, patience and personable. She went above and beyond sending texts and emails, making phone calls ensuring I recieve the most recent updates and progression of my deliveries. She is truly dedicated to her position/job and providing the best customers service experience. Thank you Jenette for making my unforeseen delays more tolerable. You are a true example of professionalism. Wish we had more of you in the world.

The two gentlemen that made my two deliveries were kind, respectful and personable.

Furniture is over priced, the white glove service in my opinion is a way of adding more cost. The expense for this particular service stated at around or about $250.00. After about the third text/email the offer had decreases to around or about $98.00. So I took advantage of the service. During the preparation for delivery damages were noticed and partial of the delivery had to be replace an additional 30 day wait to the initial 30 day wait. The second delivery date partial of my delivery was lost or misplaced at the warehouse, adding an additional two or more weeks before I had my complete order. Total disaster! I am intrested in purchasing two chairs and one buffet away from having my complete dinning room set. I called to ask were there other shipping options and was informed if I ordered only the two chair combinations I would have to pay $246.00 for shipping. No way around it. You'll be surprise to know it's the same price as the white glove service offer on my initial order. Coincidence, I don't think so.

Excellent Service

These guys did a PHENOMENAL job with my order... this was a very pleasant experience for me.
There were communication issues, caused by failing cell phone service on my end. But their driver was diligent and kept trying, In spite of everything, he came to my house with my delivery... It was only then that I discovered he had been trying for a while to notify me of his schedule and he showed proof of that.

I did not need the set up/clean up portion of the delivery because I hadn't expected to get the furniture a month ahead of the original delivery date, which meant that my old furniture was still taking up the space I needed for the new pieces. A month early was VERY pleasant news.

Great communication, fast, efficient delivery and a heads up every step of the way.
Very impressed with Tiffy and her whole crew that made this happen WELL ahead of schedule.

I HIGHLY recommend!

Satisfied First Time Customer

"I looked every where for this Ashley Furniture Bittersweet Chest because the manufacturer discontinued this excellent product (which I don’t understand why) finally I found someone who had it. I took a chance on trusting that this company was legit and really had it. They were and they really did have the item. I am very pleased with Tiffy for helping me thru this process from start to end. The excellent information that was texted to me about exactly what to expect next was nothing I’ve never experienced before, I felt very good about the business from that point on. Today I am enjoying my item and very pleased with it arriving to me in excellent condition and with that new furniture smell. Everything went exactly the way Tiffy told me it would go and for that I can not thank her enough!!!!"

Excellent service and quality merch

"I don't know about you, but our experiences with so many companies lately shows that for many companies, "customer service" is a thing of the past, and the customer is no longer "king". BUT! WE WERE OVERWHELMINGLY SURPRISED WITH OUR GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH DINING ROOMS OUTLET AND THEIR STAFF. For example, Tiffy provided me with regular email and text updates so we always knew the status of our order (and didn't have to call them to chase down this information, as has been our experience with other companies) AND, we knew exactly what to expect each step. We had expert help with the online ordering of our dining room table/6 chairs. They told us immediately how long our order would take to arrive, and they were actually earlier than anticipated, with delivery. The delivery crew of two professional men was also super. They called us about 30 minutes before arrival and truly did provide a "white glove" seamless delivery. Product was in great condition upon arrival. This excellent service has definitely NOT been an experience we have had with literally any other company over the past year, and we have ordered many products for our renovation projects. SO glad my husband found this company, just wish we found it sooner!"
