"I am a purchaser for my company, I have been using DirectDial.com faithfully for over 2 years. Their sales reps are professional, courteous, and sincerely happy to help when i have questions about parts or availabilities. They have even bent over backwards trying to find unique and hard to find items for me.

Orders are processed quickly, and are usually shipped the same day or next day,(Faster for emergencies!) items are packaged well decreasing any chance of shipping damage. They are also great about contacting you with order confirmations, shipping and tracking information. I especially like how they keep me informed with all the relevant information for when i need it.

There returns/rma department also has great service, and respond in a friendly prompt manner, credits have always been issued in a timely manner as well.

I have been very impressed with Directdial, they are consistently the best price, lowest shipping cost and fastest technology company I have dealt with. Most of my items have shown up the next day. "Customer service at DirectDial.com is terrible. They will not get back to you and really provide no helpful service. So if you run into any problems with your purchase, good luck!! You are pretty much left to fix things on your own. DirectDial.com has no return policy, they would not let me exchange an item I had not used yet! If something is broken and you want to return it, they will stick you with a $20 restocking fee on top of all the other hassle. Terrible!! Buy from someone more reputable!"

"I put in an order for an HP VP6310C projector which was listed on their site for $630.00 CDN.
The unit was listed as being in stock.
I received an email on the Monday asking me for more billing information.
Tuesday I received a phone call from a sales person saying sorry it is not available. I requested that they'd supply me with an equivalent model for around the same price. They only offered products from $700-800. When I requested some for around the same price I was contacted by the manager to advice me that the company will not have any dealings with me.
However the company still emails me with their monthly sales specials. This is evidence of poor management."

"I am a consumer and I purchased a security camera and monitor from this company. The information in the website stated that this camera could be used at night. This was false. When this was pointed out to them they refused any further communications with me. Their policy is all sales final on opened product unless proven defective. Even if they did accept the return there is a minimum $40.00 restocking charge along with shipping cost which would have been more than half the cost of the item. This company also, for obvious reasons, makes it quite difficult to find the return policy. This is not a reputable compay who stands behind what they sell and I do not recommend that anyone purchase from them no matter how good the price.

"This vendor claims that they are the largest north american technology superstore. If by largest they are refering to the how big of a bunch of they are then I would agree. I learned the hard way that they are a dubious canadian operation that does business under several different names and are regarded as "unsatisfactory" by the bbb.org becuase of failure to respond to any complaints. Thier web site is defective and when I was unable to log back in to track my order I emailed them for help. After 4 emails over the same number of days I emailed them telling them that they sucked and their reaction was to cancel my order and they replied with a rampage of childish emails. So, it turns out that I glad to have canceled the order and called my credit card company to reverse the charges made to my credit card (made before the item shipped by the way). Totally unprofessional, totally childish, and totally pathetic. They charged my credit card despite telling me otherwise but the credit card company was really cool about it saying that this vendor has had so many complaints that they now reverse charges without bothering with investigations (meaning they don't even ask the vendor their side of the story)... Now you know, so don't make the same mistake I made. Good luck.

ps, 2 years and 7 months after originally posting this the vendor requested that reseller ratings have it removed becuase of vulgar language. I removed the vulgar language that slang for a body part, and leave to you to insert your own word instead. I don't generally promote the use of vulgarity, but sometimes, like in this case, it is well deserved. So many great vendors out there do yourself a favor and avoid this one. Thank you."

"I ordered a bunch of hard to find items like a USB front panel and a USB cable that plugs into the motherboard header.

They were very aggressive with the packaging, perhaps a little too much. But I suppose they don't want any returns because of shipping damage.

They always ship using Purolator. This makes shipping kinda expensive but you get your stuff really fast. I got my order the day after my order."
