OEM SSHD was packed in a bubble bag, into a bubble envelope. Packaging may be improved for such a fragile item, this is a mechanical drive, even if the heads are parked it should be packaged in a safer way (to be fair, there was a free shipping insurance of up to $100, covering the full item cost which is ~ C$94).
Everything else was just Perfect. DC price beat them all, tried Amazon, newegg, NCIX, Shopbot.

"Direct Canada always goes far beyond my expectations. Particularly when it comes to their free shipping rate, Direct Canada is unbeaten. Other parts vendors do not offer free shipping at all, and the major retailers that offer it after reaching a comparable order price ($50; so, Walmart for instance) ship by regular Canada Post. And, hey, that's great. Free shipping is nice regardless of the time it takes; I'd certainly rather wait a bit longer not to have to pay $10 to ship something as tiny as many of my parts orders end up being. Direct Canada, however, fulfills free shipping through Purolator. So, and order I made on Monday is guaranteed to be here today (Friday) without fail.

That's a major positive for me, and is likely the major reason I try to use Direct Canada as much as possible.
