"When I showed concerns that the compressor would be an exact fit for the 1998 Mitsubishi 3000GT LS DOHC model, I was told by several reps that it was!!

The description on the picture of the compressor states:

This is an exact* picture of your part. We do not use generic pictures. Our cataloging team is the best in the industry and it ensures that you get the right part, the first time.

Be wary of companies that list generic or 'sample' pictures, or no picture at all. They are usually fly by night operations that are rebuilding in a garage. They do not have the expertise to build the part correctly and will not stand behind it when it fails.

You simply cannot beat the quality of our parts and no one can match the strength of our warranty.

Your pictured compressor shows a triangle 3 wire connector, which is the same as the old compressor on the car. The compressor I rec’d was a square 4 wire connector.

The positions of the pins on the high and low side inlets are the opposite side on the old compressor (Note, old compressor on the car was an OEM Mitsubishi unit)

Results, I had to take the position pins out in order to connect the lines. I had to splice the old connector to the new compressor, which I didn’t want to do. There is a harness adaptor that you can get from Mitsubishi (MR270069), but you were not aware of this when I spoke to a rep. This was not an option for me at the time of installation, because it was a special order part that would have taken 3-4 day to get.

Conclusion: When I spoke to the rep his reply was…. We’ve never had that problem before! (A bail out statement). When you say an exact fit, it should mean what it states! The picture should be changed to show the connector that comes with the compressor!

Was not happy with this experience, I did not like (mickey mouseing) the connector!

"Poor customer service: ordered a part and the pricing changed, a warrenty charge was added without my consent (automatically added unless you click you don't want it)(this charge does not show up on the e-mailed invoice). The customer service reps were not polite or helpfu. they argued about the price that i had an invoice on and would not accept the invoice. I will not recomend you business to anyone. "
