"5 years ago, I ordered sofabed sheets from this company and was very happy with them, so I went to the website to buy another set. Lucky me (so I thought)...they had the color I wanted on close-out...even with their exhobitant S&H charges, it was a good buy. I assumed it would be the same quality as the ones I had ordered in the past. WRONG. There is no way these sheets were 200 thread count...you could see right through them, were as stiff as cardboard and bore no relation to the original ones (which I still have and use as a basis for comparison). I decided to send them back even though I will only net about 1/4 of the total costs (S&H back and forth).I think they know this which is why they ship cheap garbage. BTW...I would have gladly paid the original price (and that price was stated) for the same product. The most important consideration for a mail order retailer is consistancy. Never again, Domestications!"
"Like many reviewers on here I have received items made from such poor, thin material it is only suitable for summer use but the breaking point was the 1.95 service charge. I own a business and when you buy from me, you keep me in business. I don't need to charge you an additional amount at the last second to keep me in business. I wrote the company and told them they had lost a customer. They wrote back immediately and were completely unconcerned. Sears and Walmart are better than this company."
"Purchased a Cassandra "quilt" & sham set with extra throw pillow. It arrived very promptly but box appeared awfully small for a "quilt" & sham & extra pillow. The "quilt" is more like two pieces of fabric with almost NO batting between them. It will only work in the summer as it provides NO warmth at all. The throw pillow, on the other hand is about 12"X12" and has enough stuffing for two pillows of that size. The picture online has main color as almost light mauve or medium pink but it is actually almost a hot pink. Picture is very deceptive. The return policy makes it not worth returning since the item is technically not "defective" & I will not get refund of shipping & handling either to or from company plus they deduct $2.50 from your credit for something!! I will never use this company again."
"We ordered a black bistro table and two chairs. The set arrived in brown, and one of the two chairs was broken.
Domestications said that they would not replace the broken chair nor make good on the transaction.
Like those above, we will never use Domestications again, and suggest that other potential purchasers consider this merchants abysmal record before using their services.

"On October 29 I ordered the Christmas Bed in a bag. After three weeks I finally receive my very small, small(did I mention small, I mean petite or better yet miniture)box. I was puzzled how can a Queen size comforter set fit in a small box. Well, it did. The quality was extremely disturbing since I paid $75 for the set. I will never order from Domestications. "I've ordered once before from this company without a problem. This time I ordered 3 items. A week later I received the rug but not my other two items. I waited another week without ever getting an email from the company. I then went online and checked my order status. It appears my two items are both backordered for TWO MONTHS! The items still appear as available on their website. Its ridiculous to show items as in stock when they're not, and on top of that not giving any status updates to the customer. This will be my last order."
"Ordered 6 cordless pleated shades. Discount was given properly at checkout. Shipment was made in 24 hours, receipt of goods in 3 days. Shades were as expected for the price. Levelor they are not, but for the price a good value. Items were well packaged. Considering the other feedback I was apprehensive but I had a great experience with this vendor from ordering to product value. I will be ordering some more of this item from them and report back with the next experience."

first off i made a order over the phone
i order a Down FEATHERED NEST BED SET QUEEN
they told me its a 2 inch pad 2/3 inch thick pillows and a nor size comforter
when i got the package the whole thing wasn't 2 inch's thick pad comforter and both pillows on top of each other.
so i go to the post office to return it same box i got it in and everything they say its to big of a box to mail......i just got it from them go fig.
so i go to ups and it 47 to send it back 15 to get it to me 47 back 62 in all in shipping.
i call them up and explain to them that the post office wouldn't accept the box they shipped it in and i having to send it ups i want some of my shipping back,
they put me on hold for like 45 min i guess hoping i hang up.
they pass me off to a sup and i explain what i was told about the product and what it was and i was returning it. and how the post office wouldn't take it and now it is costing me 47 to mail it back and i wanted the shipping over the 15 that it should have cost me to send it back refunded.
they more less told me to take i hike. i going to call tomorrow and talk to someone else but this is crazy. they tell you to send it back , in a box that the post office will not accept and expect you not to get mad when the postage is going to cost me just about as much as the product.
the total was 107 that was with 15 shipping
now i have to eat that 15 and the 47 to send it back 62 i am out of. i get 45 back i guess i should be happy"
"I ordered the "Imperial Dragon" comforter set, one set of sheets and a pair of curtains. All were in the same design. The pattern is dark red with black accents. I immediately washed the comforter set in COLD water on the DELICATE cycle although the label said to use warm water.
The inside of my dryer is now RED ! I called Domestications. They said they aren't liable for any damages because I didn't follow manufacturers directions. They supposedly refunded shipping costs of $39.99 to my credit card. I won't know for a few days if that is true.
Before I prepared to mail everything back I decided to test the sheet set on a warm water wash (as instructions stated). Not only is the drum in my dryer a deeper RED now but upon inspecting the pillow cases I saw that the red had disappeared on every fold line on them and on the sheets too. Did same thing to all the stuff.
Domestications told me on the phone that they'd send a return label but it'd take 10-14 days to get it to me. I told them to forget that,I paid $21.40 to the post office for Priority Mail with Signature Confirmation.
Funny side note...The palms of my hands are tinged red from handling the wet fabrics !
AND bleach on a wet sponge didn't get half the red out of my dryer.
I'll update this review on how fast I get a refund of $99.97 plus the $39.99 S&H charge.
(I wonder if that red dye in my dryer will turn my husbands white socks pink ?)

They refunded the shipping cost plus $1.95 service charge. Now they've also refunded the purchase price.
I called Hanover in N.J. on Dec.6th. They own Domestications. 'Stephanie' is testing by laundering the set herself! After she calls me on Monday,Dec.12th I'll update again.
So far this company has shown integrity and honesty. "
"Absolutely the worst online company I've ever dealt with. Still don't have my product more than 2 months later! Item was listed as available, but then went on backorder, then again, and again....6 times it went on backorder. Now, they say they've shipped it? It's been over 2 weeks and I still don't have it. And they have the nerve to charge $11 in shipping and fees after all this? This was bought as a X-Mas present for my son on 12/2. We may not have it in time for his birthday 2/16. Customer service is rude, and unhelpful. Stay away."
