"Bad customer service! I received a faulty battery, and the assistance after the first contact in which he explained to me to reset the computer dissolved. I bought another battery from a competitor site, and everything works perfectly. No warranty, apparently and no refunds. Only silence! And to think that I chose Duracell for the high-sounding name, thinking it was a guarantee. I made a big mistake and will do lousy publicity every chance I get. Good life."
"I emailed an inquiry about tracking and they responded quickly with a tracking number. My camera batteries shipped right on time."
"Be aware and stay clear of this!
I ordered a laptop battery, which I received. After some time the battery caused an error in the computer. The serviec email of this company does not respond at all, and the (local) telephone number seems to be disconnected."
"When I ordered a battery for the laptop I assumed it would be coming from the USA. However I received an involve from the UK. I wanted to know when the estimate time I would receive the battery however their customer service department is close and they only communicate via E-mail. I have sent them 3 e-mails and there has been no reply. I would recommend not to order from Duracelldirect.com. I think I have been ripped off."
"I bought a batterie for my Macbook Pro but only half a year later its capacity already dropped to only 40%. After I complained they replaced it but now 6 month later the new batterie is not recognized by my Macbook anymore. I complained again but DuracelDirect just explained it's 13 month after I purchased it, so no warranty.
Their products are designed to fail! So please don't buy them!"
"Used info provided at Duracell website to order laptop battery....did not fit my laptop. Admitted that I had ordered the wrong battery and received a RMA number with instructions to return the $50 battery to London, England. Lowest shipping for the battery was around $200...I returned to the address in Rhode Island. When I again requested a refund, I was again told by Matthew that it had to be sent to England. I assume they manufacture very fine batteries....just be sure that you order the correct one."
"Camera manufacturers' extraordinarily inflated battery prices have bred a dirty market in cheap impostor batteries, flourishing online. There are hundreds of these fakes on Amazon.com alone, shipping from no published addresses and fronted by disposable Gmail accounts. Amazon just looks the other way, raking in commissions on spurious claims and doctored ratings by battery scam artists who say their products are good-as, if not better-than, OEM voltage and amp hours. I know. I'm an investigative journalist and videographer who's been burned more than once.
When I needed a half dozen of the heftiest camera batteries in the NP-F class to power a newly-acquired lighting kit, I looked for a name I could trust. For years, I've relied solely on Duracell whose batteries have never failed to live up to their specs. DuracellDirect.com caught my eye. But as of this writing, Duracell has yet to release its best of class, the F970s, in the United States though they are available in the UK. London-based DuracellDirect came to my rescue, shipping the batteries I needed from their London facility via DHL Express in time for a video shoot already in production — customer service that's all too rare in online retailing and offering engineer input on the performance I was likely to achieve using the Duracell version.
Not only were Duracell's batteries far less expensive than Sony's, they're built to outperform. These Duracell NP-F970s provide 7800mAh compared to Sony's 6300mAH. The breeding shows. I can keep an LED video light lit at full output longer than four hours on a pair of them while freeing myself from worries about on-location lighting failures — or whether they'll still be working a month from now. Duracell's 3-year warranty shames the hit-and-run frauds.
Duracell demands rigid standards from this reseller, and the fact that DuracellDirect has recently taken over online distribution of Duracell products in the United States is great news. They've been handling Duracell batteries in the European market for 13 years and while there were apparently issues with DuracellDirect.com's previous operators, this experience and the outstanding performance of its new management team has made the site my go-to source for camera and lighting portable power.

"This site have the worst service I haver seen.
I order 2 batteries to a camecorder with the description referring on the website that they were for the camecorder.
When I received them, the batteries didn´t feet. I took almost 2 months to get an answer and instructions how to delivery. Spent almost half the value of the purchase in delivery costs and no compensation of the website.
I tried again to buy the correct batteries and again the same situation. The description indicates that they are for the model I have and they don´t feet. I got an answear from them saying they have thousands of goods and can´t e correct in all!!!
Never says how to delivery the specific goods and any compensation for there mystakes. I will have to spent more money to delivery and some more weeks of emails until they give me a proper answear.
Don´t buy here if you like your mental sanity!!!"
"Awful experience. Ordered an epilator as it was advertised as a direct from manufacturer product. Was entitled to next day delivery. 3 days later my order was shown as 'received but unprocessed'. Received responses from 2 different operators, one saying that it was due to a system error and the other that it was out of stock until that day.... Both said would process for delivery the next day. Another 3 days later parcel has not appeared, neither a phone call, or a note left. They claimed they couldn't get through the gate even though we don't have such issues with the gate. Emailed both ukmail and duracelldirect saying I want it delivered as I am leaving, got the response that since I am leaving they will send parcel back to sender and give me a refund, without giving me the opportunity to collect from depot. Ridiculous service, awful treatment, thia is not a decent company.STAY AWAY!!!"
" This is the third time I have ordered Duracell batteries from Duracelldirect. We now have about 36 smoke and intrusion alarm devices at our small business that all take the same battery. It is nice to be able to get that many batteries at once.
We have never had any problems shipping, billing or getting exactly what we wanted."
"Fraud! Image is a "Duracell" camera battery, sends knock off no name. Cannot be trusted. "
"CUSTOMER BEWARE!!!
1) Misleading company name. NOT A DURACELL Company website.
2) Many of the batteries they are marketing ARE NOT
Duracell products. They provide with pretentious
descriptions leading the buyer to believe that they ARE
Duracell batteries.
THEY DO SELL DURACELL PRODUCTS AS WELL. However, it is difficult and tricky for the consumer to distinguish the after-market batteries from the genuine Duracell products.
Returns are always minus shipping costs (both directions) even on misleadingly marketed products.
Courteous customer service employee "Misty" HAS provided me with pre-paid return label and a few days later refunded initial shipping costs AFTER obtaining special permission.
Less cooperative employee "Brian" presented me with technical arguments to justify their unethical in my opinion marketing practices.
PLEASE NOTE: A high capacity battery sold by them may not necessarily be of high capacity. Instead, might be a High-Capacity branded product (the name of the manufacturer is “High Capacity").
In my case, not even the name of the manufacturer appeared on the battery."
"Ordered 3.7 Volt Li-Ion cellular phone battery
for Motorola KRZR K1. Knew it was a knockoff, but took a chance. Battery was delivered in five days. Installed it in the phone and charged it. A week later the initial charge is down to two bars, but holding well--much better than the original Motorola battery. Service and product met and exceeded expectations. I would order from DuracellDirect again. No shipping charge and battery was well packaged.

"We have typically utilized Duracell batteries in our home for flashlights, small appliances, and other everyday uses, so when my laptop battery was not longer holding a charge for long, I went online to find a replacement. I found the DuracellDirect website easy to navigate, and I quickly found a replacement battery to fit my laptop. After placing the order, I got a quick confirmation that the order was being processed. Within 24 hours, I got another confirmation to let me know the battery had been shipped (Friday, August 27th). On Monday, the battery pack was delivered. The new battery is working great, giving me up to 5 hours of time on my laptop, which is better than I got with the manufacturer's original battery. I will use this website again."
"The customer service agent was very knowlegeable and helpful, an overall enjoyable experience. The batteries arrived well before the anticipated date and are obviously of good quality. I was pleased to find Duracell brand selling these types of batteries and will continue to use them."
