"I ordered the Jamestown Executive Desk and the matching credenza for my new office. I opted for quarter sawn oak with black, hammered arts and crafts style hardware. The furniture is beautiful. Service at Dutchcrafters was excellent. I'd recommend talking to them prior to placing your order, which I did. This allowed me to discuss the various options and get their input. (For example, I modified the hardware selection, which didn't appear modifiable from the website options.) The pieces came in about 8 weeks, which worked out well with our move. I've wanted a desk and credenza like this for 21 years since I started practicing law, and I now have it. Cost delivered and set up was about $5800 for the two pieces. I could have gotten the typical laminate set for $2,000 to $3000. To me, buying quality like this was well worth it. The cheap stuff will look bad in a few years. Its usable life may be about 10 years. These pieces will be in use for decades. My grandchildren will likely end up with them, and I don't even have grandchildren yet. Delivery was smooth and professional with great communication. I'm very satisfied and would recommend Dutchcrafters to anyone looking for unique, quality solid wood furniture. "
"I just received my beautiful handcrafted Amish cedar hope chest. As soon as you open the box you smell the cedar. The chest is very well made with handles and casters and such a beautiful finish. It also comes with a 10 year warranty. The chest came from Morgantown, PA which is the heart of the Amish country. The chest also weighs at least 95 lbs.; but on wheels it is easy to move around. The chest was delivered by UPS freight and came completely sealed and wrapped in a huge box on a skid. The driver was excellent and he delivered it right to the porch and helped push it into the house. I could not be happier with my overall experience and purchase of this beautiful piece of furniture."
"Even though I really liked the idea of ordering a "made to order" Gun Cabinet and getting just what I wanted I have to admit that I was a bit hesitant. I mean waiting 10 weeks to be made, another 2-3 weeks to receive it and even then not being 100% sure on the quality or how it was going to look.
