"Have loved all the classrooms except preschool. Preschool seems the hardest one to control and teachers are constantly new/leaving. Otherwise, i feel my kid is loved, cared for, is enthusatitc to go to school. She even misses it when we're off for a week."
"Overall great experience. Some hiccups with Covid (as there were everywhere I’m sure) but amazing over the last two years with the exception I’ve discussed in prior questions. Adrienne Erin and Drew are gems."
"We loved our child's first teacher. As new parents she made us feel welcome and that our child was in a safe loving environment. Unfortunately, she left and the replacement, while friendly, didn't seem like they knew much about kids in that age group. We understand turnover isn't the responsibility of the school but we also have never been informed when our child's teacher was leaving the school. This has happened three times in less than a year. Overall, they communicate well about daily logs (food, potty, sleep, etc) and in regards to bulletins (closures, illnesses, etc.) but they have not done well in regards to community news (staff leaving/vacation). I worry this doesn't create a predictable routine for kids. In general, the staff take physical care of the kids very well. The facility is clean and functions properly. I do have concerns that some staff aren't a great fit for ECE but overall we've been grateful for the care our child has received."
"It has been great! The care providers are fantastic and when we had an issue, it was resolved quickly with clear communication. We are sad we cannot stay, we simply cannot afford it."
"In general I feel my child is safe and their basic physical needs are met ( eating, sleeping, diapers). The staff try to get other activities done with the kids but even a 1-4 ratio makes activity time challenging. The only criticism I have is I have to initiate all communication about changes I see in the classroom, ie his teacher leaving and new floating teachers being assigned. This location is convenient for us but in not certain it will meet our needs long-term."
"It's been great, we've had 3 kids there since they were all babies. Only frustration is so much teacher turnover that no sibling ever gets the same teacher as an older sibling"
"Our child has only attended during the covid-19 pandemic, so it is difficult to know what it normal and what's unique to this strange time. We would like to engage with the teachers more and meet other parents at the school, but the pandemic has prevented both of these things."
"My daughter is so happy going to school each day, she learns so much, and I feel safe sending her there."
"We’ve had nothing but positive experiences at Everbrook! We moved to the opposite side of town, but decided to keep our child enrolled because we love Everbrook so much."
"Love the teachers! Even ones who have not taught our daughter seem to know her and are friendly to us"
"All teachers and staff are caring and extremely well trained. There is a consistent and reliable communication between us the parents and the teachers. We couldn’t be happier watching our 3 years old grow on every level at the Everbrook Academy!"
"The handbook gets tossed around when asking questions about policies and what not. It mentions there will be parent teacher conferences every quarter and I haven't been offered one yet over the past 16 months. I know there has been a pandemic but for how much I pay for care, a quick zoom call would be nice. Also, my infant rarely gets enough sleep throughout the day and I feel efforts are not made to help him get more sleep because there are too many babies to one teacher."
"I love everything about this school. It is so clean, safe and all the staff is very friendly. My daughter learns so much every day and seems so advanced. She is an only child and I love how she interacts and learns with other children. The teachers are so friendly and she has loved all the teachers!"
"Very disappointed with the communication...I was told I would have biannual parent/teacher conferences. In almost 2 years, I've only had 1 and I had to ask for it myself. It's impossible to know how my children are doing from a development standpoint because the teachers are not available for these conversations. There are daily app updates but they are generalized about the entire group and not individualized. Front office staff frequently seem to have an attitude and are unable to recognize which parents and children belong together. Teachers do not engage quiet children and do not foster language skills."
"Overall we love the local staff and school. Our issue is at higher levels that don’t seem to understand our school culture or put our children’s safety first. They prioritize the staff preference. This applies to Covid as well as other vaccines. It doesn’t fit with the other centers in the area. We cannot recommend this center because of these policies."
