"My husband and I have refinished floors previously but have never had a product so difficult to distribute evenly. I had three different people try to apply the finish and each had problems with the product.

The worse part is that you don't allow returns so now I am stuck with this leftover product and I have to have my floors resanded and refinished again which will delay us moving in our house.

I am a big advocate for eco friendly products but I fear that this type of product will discourage people from using healthier options for toxic products in the future."

"False advertising. Claimed I need to buy 2 quarts to finish a primed and ready 77 sq ft wall. I can guarantee this is not 1.5 more than the big brands. Shame on them customer service is terrible and blamed me like this was my first time painting. Had to file dispute with credit card company as their cst only told me buy more paint, sorry lad. I can paint an entire small bathroom with the big brands for 1 qt. No way your 1.5 more coverage claim is correct. "

"We received the wood stain and semi gloss varnish we ordered within a couple of days from ordering. The stain was ordered for custom designed kitchen island to match rest of the kitchen cabinets and it was a spot on (we did order sample a while ago to get the correct stain). Very pleased with the stain and the way it all tied so seamlessly. And the best part, it is all non-toxic and eco-friendly.

We have ordered other wood stain and floor paint as well from Ecos paints in the past and we are happy & satisfied with everything we ordered so far. Wish Ecos paints sold non-toxic retainable garage floor paints as well that which can stand car movements and water. However, for everything else, we would gladly trust Ecos paints and never look back."

"Searching for a safe coating for a piece of furniture to be used by our grandchildren, I came across Ecos Interior Satin Clear Varnish, and bought a quart on line. It was well-packaged for shipping, and arrived when promised. The directions on the label were clear and complete. However I had doubts I could achieve the finish I wanted with just two coats as recommended. But after the two coats it looked and behaved completely finished. Now I have a beautiful table without any toxicity or volatile organic chemicals that are found in most coatings. A couple of notes: first, if you haven't worked with fast drying coatings before, it is worth practicing a few brushstrokes on a wood scrap to get the hang of spreading the product evenly before it sets up. Second, the sanding recommended after the first coat dries is critical unless a smooth finish is not a priority."

"I ordered 10 paint sample sheets and they arrived very quickly (3 days)! Beautiful colors and almost exactly what is shown on screen. Also, the first 8 samples were free, the other two were $.25 each and the shipping was free (very few things you can get for that price!) I look forward to making my decision on the paints I will buy, ordering them from ECOS and creating my wall mural. Thank you Ecos for providing paint that is safe to use in my home!!!"

"I received this paint and it did not look like the color that I ordered. The texture was horrid and after repeated attempts to rectify the situation with the company, I am now just stuck with the paint. Mind you, I ordered five gallons, 4 are untouched.
I now understand why they will not accept returns because everyone would be returning the paint in my opinion.
While I appreciate the fact that this is vegan and zero vocs, which is why I ordered it, I cannot leave a good review unfortunately. "

"I do my best to be waste conscious. I was disappointed that the sample arrived in nonrecyclable foam packaging. For a company advertising "Eco-friendly products for a healthier home" this did not live up to my expectations. Would be happy to see an alternative compostable or recyclable packaging option."
