Unbelieveable experience!

"EF has given me more than just travel. It’s allowed me to create relationships with people from all over, given me the chance to explore other cultures through locals, and provided insight to the daily life as you walk around town of the place you’re in. There’s so much life that comes with travel but also the customer service you get from the tour group that helps ease the process or travel altogether. EF is a great company to be a part of and I’ve loved every trip since then. "

The European Road Trip with New Years in Amsterdam was AMAZING!!!!

"This trip was so amazing. Every place we went to, we got to see the highlights of that place, which were remarkable. The accommodations were also super great. I must say, my favorite was Switzerland. It was incredible! Fabrice, our tour guide, could not have been better. He was AMAZING and made the trip so efficient, fun, and exciting. I want him to go on every trip I ever go on haha. Highly recommend!!!!"

Great way to start your traveling journey!

"I’ve traveled with EF for three tours now and they’re all so amazing. Wonderful opportunities to travel without any stress of planning. Your tour director becomes your bestie, as do the rest of the travelers! Take the leap and travel. If not now, when? If not today, tomorrow? THEY WILL NOT WORK WITH YOU! Horrible employees! DO NOT BOOK!

"I thought EF Ultimate Break was helpful and a good company until they cheated me out of my $100 for recommending a friend. I called months before asking for my $100 off since the website wouldn’t add it and the lady I talked to said I needed to wait till it was closer to the trip so I did and then they said that my friend was leaving too soon and that I couldn’t get it anymore. I explained what the lady had told me and they just said sorry. I will not be recommending anyone to this company anymore."

Not impressed

"1. The tour guide Rhyan was amazing, informative, and very kind. 2. EF is overpriced for the quality. - the accommodations are terrible and if you have any standards you will book your own. I took multiple cold showers that lacked water pressure. Most of the sheets at the places had stains and smelled like they weren’t actually washed. So pack your own if you can and a couple towels. 3. The flights they book will be at the worst times and multiple transfers. Wasting your time and day. Book your own if you can 4. The food in Costa Rica for the most part is bland but the burgers are amazing if you are a picky eater. If your stomach is sensitive stick to rice beans and chicken. Most places I encountered do not wear gloves. 5. The travel insurance is trash and requires a lengthy amount of paperwork and proof 6. EF does not hold themselves accountable and basically left me stranded in Costa Rica after I called multiple times about my flight being canceled and asking them to rebook since American Airlines requires them too. And I’m still trying to get my flight money back with no urgency on their part. 7. The activities are fun but there could be more variety. With so many water activities other options on land would be great too. 8. Practice your Spanish because most people do not speak English. If you are told this it’s a lie. 9. Make sure your US dollars are PERFECT otherwise Costa Ricans will not accept. 10. The only thing EF cares about is profit because this trip was not worth over 3k that I spent for 10 days and mediocre everything. "

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

"The only positive thing about this entire trip was our tour guide who was knowledgeable and kind despite all the horrible things that happened during the trip.

To start, EF puts you on the worst flights imaginable. My first flight (out of 3) was cancelled the night before I was supposed to leave and EF refused to help me. I spent 8 hours on hold with the airline to get booked on another flight. I made it to my second flight and was denied boarding for no reason (at the fault of the airline). I called the 24/7 EF emergency line and they said they could only help me during business hours from Mon - Fri between 8am - 5pm ET. I later learned they helped someone else on my trip over the weekend, which was outside their "business hours." The emergency line is useless and the people who answer the phone are incompetent. I was stranded in another country for 24 hours with no assistance from EF and still had not made it to my destination. They refused to help me with the airlines, booking a hotel for the night or meals. When I finally made it to my destination, I had missed 2 days of the trip.

The hotels on the trip are the worst I've stayed at in my entire life. They are dirty and in extremely inconvenient locations. The restaurants we were taken to were not great - I could have found better on my own and you're stuck in a bus with 40 other people for the majority of the trip. We spent more time on a bus than actually touring the cities.

On my trip home, I barely made my connecting flight and was lucky because I would've been stranded AGAIN in a foreign country. Others on my trip dealt with lost luggage, more cancelled flights, being stranded or left on their own to figure it out. I understand a lot of these issues were airline related, but it's also because EF puts you on the cheapest possible flights, which means you get the worst service and no one cares about you. It's truly remarkable how little EF cares about their trip attendees.

Once I arrived home, I called EF to talk about my experience and to discuss reimbursement for the two days I missed. I also purchased the travel insurance. I was told to file a claim and that "they rarely decline claims." The girl I spoke with said she'd talk to her supervisor and get back to me. I followed up three times and haven't heard from her in 5 months. She completely ghosted me. I filed a claim and followed up with them multiple times as well and just today, again 5 months later, received an email saying my claim was denied.

This company has the WORST customer service I've ever experienced and they DO NOT care about you or your safety during their trips. They want your money and that is all. I spent an additional $1,000 on a hotel and food while I was stranded because the city I was in was completely sold out on hotel rooms - money I will never see again in addition to what I spent on the trip itself. Even if you are a poor college student, you deserve a way better experience than this company provides.

Experience of a lifetime

"My trip to Bali was nothing short of a dream. I had the time of my life and my short time there felt like I had created a new place to call home. The guides were amazing, informative, and genuinely cared and had the groups best interest. They also knew how to make us laugh! The temples, hikes, and sight seeing in Bali lived up higher to my expectations than I could have imagined. I will surely be going back to Bali and hope to see some the travelers and locals that I met again. Probably the most genuine place I’ve ever been to, I missed it before I even left!"

First place I go when I’m looking to travel!

"I’ve been on 3 EFUB tours and have 5 booked for 2023! I love that everything is included in the price of the trip and all I have to do is go. The next seller is the itineraries, all of the destination highlights are included so you don’t have to worry about missing out on anything. Finally, not only are you visiting some of the most beautiful places on earth but you’re doing so with friends you just made, trying new things and getting out of your comfort zone. If you’re considering a trip with EFUB, stop thinking and just book it!"

incredible trip experience

"this was my first trip with EF ultimate break, I had traveled with them when I was in high school, so I was familiar with the company, and I love the fact that they take care of flight, transportation, the hotel, and that everything is included with just the one price. I went on the Iceland winter escape and perla. My tour guide was absolutely amazing. She was so excited about the group, and so excited to share everything about her country. She was so genuine an awesome. "
