"These guys took my money and never delivered my product or refunded my money. Yahoo took them off their shopping web site since then, but they continue to rip people off. I am attaching their email, but they never would refund my money. We apologize for the excessive delay in issuing your credit. We have been experiencing a major delay in crediting for the past few months. We are crediting orders on a daily basis, but however are restricted to a certain amount per day. Please be assured that you will receive your

"I ordered from this company. When the product wasn't shipped I cancelled the order. I was told I would get a refund and it never came. I cannot contact this company by phone and when I e-mailed I was told it was being handled. Buyers beware. "

"STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! They practice taking your money and charging you to get it back after they don't perform their job! I placed orders and payed extra to have them processed within 2 days. A month later they still couldn't tell me where my order was and promised to refund my money. One item - a Sony TFT monitor was never shipped and when they finally figured out what happened to it, they said the part number changed. Good for me, the new part was over $100 less! Unfortunaltely, I have yet to receive the price difference, nor the refund on the mis-shipping (it's now October)!!! After being promised they would refund my money, I got an e-mail from a person claiming that the person I was dealing with no longer worked for the company and that they couldn't refund my money because they don't use the merchant any longer!!!!!!! What an absolute load of CRAP! Do yourselves a favor and pay an extra 30% to deal with ANYONE else!"

"I purchased a viewsonic monitor from ems computing on May 23, 2003. Contrary to what they state on their website they charged my credit card immediately. After 30 days and no delivery I emailed them as to what the delay was. NOTHING! Over the course of several months I emailed them countless times and received only two auto-gen form letters. Then out of the blue almost four months after ordering the product it came. I feel very fortunate that I was able to even get my purchase from these shady characters. Many people have not. BEWARE, do not purchase from these people ever!!! I have learned my lesson and will never purchase from them again! "

"They could not ship to third party address and I cancelled the order for a printer. It has been nearly 7 months, and although they sent a cancellation acknowledgement, I still do not have a refund. They do not respond to emails and have no longer got a phone # customers can call."

"***BUYER BEWARE*** These guys have lost the concept of customer service! If you ever have a problem with your order with them, forget it. I've you want to save a buck or two and get everything right the first time, good luck.

I tried ordering a Samsung 171MP from them, and had a mixup with the billing phone number. After attempting to rectify the problem FIVE times over the course of 2 weeks with ABSOLUTELY no response, I cancelled my order. Of course, I had to wait a few more days before they cancelled it. Try to talk to someone over the phone? Forget it - their 800 number only tells you to use their 'automated email' system 'in order to bring you the lowest prices.' What a joke.

About the best thing that happened was having my order cancelled so my credit card wouldn't be charged.

"Like a lot of others here, credit card charged, no item after a month and they refuse to answer e-mails. I have complaints filed with the BBB of Flordia, Internet Fraud Complaint Center http://www1.ifccfbi.gov/index.asp
and my credit card company, and the Flordia Attorney Generals Office.

I did a Google search and found EMS Computing\Techsavings also operates as GovLot, Inc. www.govlot.com. When I called their order number ***-***-**** the call taker seemed a little rattled when I asked about EMS computing. "In the same building, but a different company" he said. Yea, right, same FAX number and "Suite "D" instead of "Suite "A" on the mailing address. "I can't transfer you, but someone from EMS will call you right back" he said. Never happened.

"I placed an order with the company on April 7th. After checking on the order for a while, and on April 15th emailing them asking when would my order be shipped since it was still "In processing" I got what seemed to be a good reply. After reading the reply again, I noticed it had no mention of my product which led me to believe that it was an automatic B.S. mailer. On april 15th I emailed the customer service representative to tell him to cancel it. It was cancelled my money never showed up. I had to fight for it back with the bank and on May 15, over a month later, I got my money back."

"I placed an order on April 15. It has been nearly 2 months since I placed this order and it is still in "processing" status. Of course, my credit card was billed immediately.
I have emailed the company twice already (and once again today) and received only one response, saying that shipment was delayed but the item should be shipping soon.

At this point, they are in violation of FTC laws for shipping items. I notice that they have a fee stated on their site for cancelled orders, and I will not accept that. This kind of response is utterly unacceptable for an online retailer, not just against the law.

"I placed an order for canon i320 printer may 7,2003. my visa was charged may 8th. i have emailed them 7 times as i have yet to receive the printer. ems only answered the 1st email. they were having difficulty because of a new delivery system. well now that i have read the numerous complaints about EMS and their other company "LowestPriceTech.+com", i know for sure, 100% positive that i can kiss my $51 goodbuy.I will report this to the consumer depts.i have read about from the comments of other consumers who have done business with EMS. "I have had similar problems dealing with EMS, i'm still waiting for a refund for a KDS monitor I bought from this company. It has been more than 1 month since i received the a e-mail confirmation about my refund credit. So if you want to do something about it.
JUST REPORT THEM TO THE BBB. www.BBB.org, and file a compliant, hopefully they'll do something about it. I just filed one recently, and i don't recommend purchasing from this company ever again.

"EMS COMPUTING IS THE SAME AS TECHSAVINGS.COM

I placed an order from TECHSAVINGS.COM for the linksys adapter on may 5, 2003 and received quick conformation for the order. My credit card was processing the order quickly and according to the order it was being processed and shipped. After almost 2 weeks of waiting still no package. I tried to call the company but wasn't able to find a phone number off the website other than a fax number. I called my creit card company and got the order credited from my acct but they still needed to find out why they haven't shipped the order. That took another 2 weeks. I finally sent them an email which turns out to be another company and not techsavings.com. It stated the following:

I suppose they really needed to place the exclamation point there to tell me to please quit pestering us. Mildly put on my part of course.
It is now June 5, 2003 and I still have not received the product. This is the worst online company or scam company, I have ever dealt with. I have ordered online before and never had a problem until now. MY ADVICE TO ALL, AS OTHERS HAVE STATED: DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE THEY DON'T CARE, WON'T SHIP AND PREPARE TO RECEIVE THE EMAIL OF "Thank you for contacting EMS Computing regarding your order. "Dishonest, Fraud, No Product, Take your money.
If these are the properties you look for in an internet shopping company, EMS computing is for you.

They charge your credit card the same day. First phone call they tell you the item is being shipped. Second phone call they tell you its back ordered after they tell you its shipped. Ask they for a tracking number and they say they will send you an email with the number. Never Credited the credit card and never sent a refund check.

If you have ordered from this company, contact your credit card company and dispute the charge immediately and shop some other place. Don't order from any company from Gainesville Florida. They also own Tech Savings.

This made me realize how good my credit card company really is. I disputed the charge on line and was given a credit for the amount. Always use a credit card when ordering online, and make sure the credit card company has a web site to watch charges and check all charges and credits.

And most of all don't buy products from EMS computing and Tech Savings and any other company out of Gainesville Florida.
