I did not get detailed information about my shipment until the package actually was delivered, then got an email saying that it was delivered. It was not an essential part of this order but I would have to rethink if the shipment was time critical."

"Ordered in April and credit card billed day it was ordered. Waited over a month, didn't receive. Contacted East Coast music to ship item or credit account, they credited account and cancelled order which I didn't want cancelled. Contacted them again stating 1-3 weeks for shipment, now 4 weeks please ship instead of credit. Was told still on back order so another 1-3 weeks and I would have to reorder. So I reordered and was told would go back on waiting list where I was previously. Waited over another month, contacted them again as didn't receive. Was told waiting for publisher to get back orders out, nothing they can do. Asked why they don't bill when it's shipped vs ordered when you got to wait months, was told company policy. They are cheaper than other sites, however now waited 3 months for something that was 1-3 weeks.
Here's reply to their comment that is was delivered, never been so frustrated or wasted so much time trying to obtain 1 order. Next step consumer protection as this was delivered not to me but a business address apparently to another customer as not my name or address on shipping label. But after a week later all I get is the same message it was delivered, absurd!
Delivered to business address last Thursday, not to my address that was given when I ordered. Contacted USPS and they informed me not my address on the shipping label so they had to deliver to address on label. Since I'm not the sender, can't give me name or address where it was delivered. Contacted East Coast music to inform them shipped to wrong address. Got email back stating delivered. Emailed again stating not to my address, contact USPS with tracking number and they can confirm shipping label to different address. Got email back stating check with all recipients at my address. Single family home, not delivered here. Sent another email stating product ordered 4 months ago, now shipped to wrong address, need to speak with manager, please call me. 4 days later they post it was delivered, yes, but again WRONG ADDRESS! I have 27 emails back and forth with this company for 1 order. I ordered through them because they were $30 cheaper than other sites, huge mistake. The time I have spent emailing, on hold 50 minutes last Friday to get through to USPS and still no DVD set, nobody there can contact USPS to verify delivered to wrong address. However, plenty of pathetic emails from their customer service reps stating how some customers lack experience with back orders, don't comprehend how back orders work, don't have knowledge with back orders and lots of other insults and excuses. Has nothing to do with customers, has to do with their website not having accurate information. Should have indicated out of stock, currently unavailable, delayed shipping as then I would have ordered elsewhere. After posting my initial review got email stating I have to revise my review and agree to additional terms and conditions to remain on the waiting list. Wrong, freedom of speech in America and I posted my experience. Seeing as it is getting more pathetic and more excuses, posting more so hopefully I can get the product I ordered and paid for months ago! I would NEVER order from them again, not worth $30 savings spending hours of my time trying to obtain 1 DVD set. Never an apology, but lots of excuses and rude words. Shame on this company and their pitiful customer service~
