"I placed my order for a Samsung PN50B550 tv from Ednashword on 3/7/10. I called to confirm my order on 3/8/10. I was told that the tv was in stock and showed concern that my card had not been charged. I was informed from Breston that the card would not be charged until the order is ready to be shipped, then I was charged an additional 8% insurance charge.
On 3/9/10, a hold was placed on my card for the amount of the total, however there was no tracking number associated with my order. So, I called on 3/10/10, to get the tracking number. I was then informed by Breston that the tv was NOT in stock and had to be ordered from the manufacturer. I was told to wait until Friday to get an email with the tracking number.
Sunday, 3/14/10, I called again for the tracking number, since Friday they close at 3pm and Saturday, they are closed. I was informed that the tv was shipped out on 3/12/10, but since customer service was closed on Sunday, that I would have to wait until Monday for the tracking number, I sent an email after that call regarding the issue as a backup and never received a reply back. I once again called on Monday, 3/15/10, and was informed from Kevin, that the order would be shipped out on that day. I explained that I was told that it was shipped out on Friday, but Kevin explained that the truck was full and had to go out on Monday’s shipment, which was odd because how would he know since it was shipped from the manufacturer.
Still no tracking number, so another call was placed on 3/17/10, and was informed that the order had been shipped, but they would need to research the order to find out what the tracking number was, I was told to give them an hour to research it. I waited a 1hr and a half, and still no information. I instructed Henry, that I want my order cancelled if no information was available by EOB. I called the next day, and no tracking number was available, but Henry was 100% sure that the package had been shipped. I was told that the tv should however, be delivered by 3/26/10.
I waited until 12pm that day, no tracking number on the site, I was told that AM Trucking would be performing the delivery. I contacted AM Trucking and was informed to use my order number from ednashworld as a tracking number. I tried that number and NO DATA was found. I called to cancel my order and was told to give them to 4pm to find the tracking number. That would not work since they closed at 3pm. I was told to give them until 2:30pm and they would cancel the order themselves if no tracking information was found. 2:30pm came and I continued to get placed on hold for 20 minutes, and was finally told my order has been cancelled. However, I still do not have a cancellation email. BUYER BEWARE!!!!
***UPDATE***
4/6/10 Finally got my money back from Ednashworld. They would not send out a confirmation email for the order until they got the tv back. But, with no tracking number, they had no idea where the tv was. So, I put in a dispute with my bank and got my money back today. Now, I'm looking to just pay more and get it at an actual store that I can walk into and see the tv.

"I am very dissatisfied with this seller. I found your website AFTER receiving my Samsung TV. Wish I had seen it before ordering, as many people have had the same bad experience I have.
The price was mis-quoted on the phone by Elliott in Sales, and the internet information was also misleading. No where on Ed Nash World's website does it tell you about a charge for insurance, in my case, that was an extra $75.
Not only was the price higher than quoted, they charged me another $85 which they couldn't account for. I spoke to Henry the Manager twice, he said he would credit my credit card back for the unexplained charge of $85. Many phone calls later, my card still has not been credited. As far as I am concerned this company is totally fradulent. "
"Terrible experience. Terrible customer service. I was delivered a damaged tv and I am getting stuck with it. EdNashworld is blaming shipping company and saying shipping company is denying my claim. I was told I would have to settle for a $150 credit...well, its 10 days later and I have nothing but a damaged tv. Buy through a reputable company like Amazon b/c you always get what you pay for. "
"I was told I was ordering a new Samsung TV by customer service and the sales department. I had no problems with the ordering and the shipping except that they hit you with an insurance charge on top of shipping costs which isn't listed when you place your order. They send you an e-mail telling you to confirm your order then tack on the added insurance charges. When the tv came, it was obviously reconditioned. There were screws missing and no warranty info included and the tv was repacked. Samsung doesn't send out TV's the way it was packed. The stand was preattached and screws missing and you could see where there was a sticker removed. This site will lie to you to get your order. I read similar reviews after the fact and I wish I saw them before I ordered. Stay away from this site!!!"
"Buyer beware. Place order 2/11/10. Verified order via phone. Was told it would ship "next week due to bad weather". Received email notice of back order status. Web site listed item as in stock, but at a higher price than what was listed when I ordered it on line. I followed up with weekly web site checks which listed the item as in stock. durinng weekly phone calls I was repeatedly told it was on back order and expected in 1- 2 weeks. This went on for 5 weeks. When I canceled the order today I got immediate confirmation of order cancellation. My conclusion is that they did not want to honor their accepted and confirmed order for the stated price, and that they were delaying until I canceled. Fine. I won't attempt to do business with them again, and I urge you not to as well. "
"I believe I've been exceptionally patient in attempting to allow Ed Nash World representatives to rectify the following situation. Please accept my experience as a "buyer beware".
On 14 Feb, I placed an order for what was represented as a new Samsung PN63B550 television. the item shipped on 18 Feb and was received on 22 Feb. A visual inspection revealed significant damage around the base of the tv. I contacted customer service and also, by request, sent photos with an email that same day. After receiving no response, I called customer service on 28 Feb. The representative, Elliott, offered to either send a replacement new tv or to provide me a substanstial refund off the original price. On 1 March, I spoke with Elliott and agreed to accept the refund. On 4 March, I sent an email inquiring about the status of the refund. I received no response. On 11 March, I contacted Elliott who told me that it was an oversight and that he'd personally process the refund that day - although it'd be a few days before it reflected in my account. It is 16 March today and I am increasingly pessimistic of resolving this transaction as a satisfied customer. I've not taken the tv out of the box I received it in and my next efforts will be to get Ed Nash to honor it's offer to replace this product with a new, undamaged one. Regardless how it turns out at this point, I'm not inclined to do further business with this company and I would recommend that others think twice before doing so as well."
"The website is easy to use and ordering was a breeze. You will have to call the store to confirm your order and they will try to convince you to purchase a warranty as well as finally informing you that you will also have to pay insurance, which is not totaled into your online order. A bit of a pain but I was expecting this having read reviews. The shipment was very fast, but I was shipped the incorrect television. I have contacted customer support and hoping for a quick resolve.
**Update** They are fully aware of this issue and will be correcting this mistake. Now just waiting on the pickup and delivery. Will update when the correct tv arrives.
**Update 2** This problem was resolved very quickly. Customer support was incredibly helpful and the correct tv arrived in no time at all. To see how good a company really is, it takes moments like these to occur, and Ed Nash World is a company I would whole heartedly recommend."
"Merchandise arrived as ordered and faster than was advised !! I m 100perc. satisfied with it. You could not have responded to my email any sooner."
"I ordered a TV on the website. It calculated shipping charges. The next day I got an email they wouldn't ship without my telephone authorization. I was charged an 8% insurance charge. This place is a bait and switch scam. I still have not received TV or tracking numbers. AVOID THIS SITE!"
"I ordered a TV from Ed Nash World and was given a total cost which I charged to my CC. They then emailed me two days later for me to call them and verify the order which I thought was strange. When I called they tried to sell me a extended warranty which I didn't want. So then they tried to sell me a wall mount which I told them I didn't need because I was putting it on a shelf.I told him I just wanted the TV. He then told me that there would be a additional insurance cost of $92.96. So if your buying from Ed be sure and buy something else to go with your order are you won't get the price you were quoted "
"Let's discuss shipping. If a customer decides to pay for 3-5 days shipping with tracking, and pays $219.00 for this service; he shouldn't be told by the shipper to expect delivery sometime after 7-10 days. Shipping company could not tell me what truck it was on or even when for sure when it would arrive. "
"Never will i order from these guys again.
For the details I am leaving out i'll simple say,"buyers beware"
The accesory pack composed of torn unsealed plastic lacked many items. The paper work that was not missing appeared and felt extremely handled.
The salasmen agreed to send out another AP.A week later I called for an update and no one could confirm anything.A manager took my second call,he insisited on knowing exactly what was
missing from the AP.Due to the poor condition on the few items the where sent I told him everything. It was established I did receive a remote in the AP. While not discussed i would gladly return the tattered accessory pack for a one sealed containing a unhandled remote.
Todate I have a new but handled tv and remote a tattered accessory pack missing software paperwork etc."
"placed order on jan 18th. ask if there would be any problem getting here by super bowl. was told no problem. was suppose to be shipped within 24-48 hrs. did not show shipping until jan. 29th. found out this morning will probably take 10 more days to deliver well after super bowl. i was told several shipping dates and promised express delivery because of late shipment. that was the case. i will refuse the shipment if it arrives. i would like to say that i was totally satisfied with the handling of this problem. thanks to henry."
"Great Experience. I found the best price on the 50" Sony TV I was looking for and got exactly what I wanted. I paid a little more for shipping then some other places but the low price of the TV and accessories I ordered, still made the price better then places that had low or free shipping. The product was shipped the next day and I received it about a week later. I also received an email confirmation after my order and again when it shipped. Very Happy with Ednashworld."
"I have mixed feelings about my purchase at Ed Nash World. On one hand, the price of the TV was unbeatable. The TV was delivered very quickly and easily and for only .01 cent.
On the other hand, this TV isn't a brand new television. I'm not sure if it’s used, refurbished, or a floor model, but it's not new. Although the box says Samsung on it, the packing material is not what you would normally see on a new TV.
The remote and other included material like the TV stand cover was all in one bag. There were no included batteries (like a new TV would have) and the remote had some slight scratches on it. This isn't a huge deal as I won't be using the remote, but it is a clear indication that this isn't a new product.
The TV stand also wasn't properly mounted to the TV. There are supposed to be 4 screws holding in the stand, and there were only 2. I noticed this because I removed the stand to mount the TV on the wall.
There was no indication on the website that this was a used or refurbished television. All that said, the TV is in good condition and works perfectly, but I was expecting a new TV and feel that this sale was misrepresented on the website."
