"I bought my Eddie Bauer "glacier peak coat" in February 2023 in Hamilton Ontario. I wore it in Vienna for the first time in December 2023. I was freezing despite layering. The top part of the coat was not warm enough. I loved the style and the length. I wore it in a much milder climate to test it and still found it inadequate around the shoulders and chest area. I gave it another go this March 2024 in Hamilton and bought a North Face jacket for the rest of my trip. I have a much cheaper Mountain Warehouse which I wore in Canada last year and it was great but bulky. I had been looking forward to wearing the more streamlined lighter EB coat this year but I am frozen it it. I do love the style and look of it but will need to get an insert in it for added warmth. My daughter has the same coat and it is very good. I think there was some slip in standard in my purchase which was not on sale price. Very disappointed."
"I usually buy winter clothes from LL bean and never had an issue. This year I decided to shop from EB for my kids and the experience had been terrible. My order had label created for two weeks now and FedEx tracking tool still shows the package was not received. I will never spend a cent with them. Customer service is a joke; instead of solving the issue, they are simply responding with scripted responses. Stay away from Eddie Bauer online shopping "
"I’d give zero stars instead of one but unfortunately that wasn’t an option. I do not have the time or space here to get into my experience with EB. I am baffled? mystified? astounded? blown away, at the behaviour and attitudes and so called “customer service “ by this company. I am 55 years old, been shopping there since I was about 25 and will never spend one cent at that retailer again. I’m not sure what has gone on with retail in the last few years but it seems like the attitude out there now is that they’re doing us some sort of favour by allowing us to purchase an item from their company. "I don't care about the product, because cancelation was requested as soon as the email confirmation was received sending the package to the wrong address. Several attempts have Bern made to cancel, reject delivery, etc but none of that is possible with whatever their delivery system is because it uses multiple couriers under an umbrella group and you need to know exactly where in the system it is. Wven then it is highly unlikely that a return will be possible. Their chat bot can handle a return, but it wants you to print a canada post label and then PAY for the return. I am not able to get to canada post and cannot understand why I should be paying for a return they should have been able to easily cancel when they were originally told to. Their products could be fantastic, but I will never shop with them or purchase their brand again after this. I still have not been able to get this return done."
"Bought a flannel shirt, for over $40 delivered supposed to be flannel, about as thick and fluffy as silk or nylon, which is what it feels like nylon. Refused to handle the problem via phone, unable to print shipping returns. I advise everyone to stay away."
"Place an order , return it casue did not fit. I return it right on time, took them almost 2 months to put back money in my visa. Then They took off 20$ , which I thought was 10$ for shipping. I had to call several times to get my refund. Now tey are telling me that they will give me 10$ gift card out my refund. The call centre associate was not able to help me. I don't know rest of people experience but I would not recommend Eddie Bauer."
"First order I placed was in early November. Down jacket and a pair of rain pants. Second week in January I got the jacket...did not fit well, returned to store for refund. That was easy. Pants arrived at the end of January. Fool that I am I orderd a rain coat Dec23 and today Feb 17/22 I called to see what was going on with my order. WELL...I can look forward to receiving it,according to customer service, in and about mid March. If in fact I do receive it then, this order will have been 4 months in the fulfullment of my order. Apparently they are "out of stock" yet they are advertising this week on facebook, this same coat on sale. What the hell! Anyway, like many of you who have reviewed and found the same practice going on with your orders. I will not be ordering from them ever again. Customer service was pleasant and not helpful as I would guess they do not have the information they need to give an accurate answer. The online system they have, they might as well shut it down. "

Every aspect of this order came up short - especially customer service (or lack thereof). they should be ashamed of themselves. To abuse such a legacy is a disgrace. Black Friday I bought a jacket that was on sale. Two months later they tell me they can't fulfill the order. The insult was their customer service (if I can even call it that). They botched the address, made me repeat many times my name, my address and so many other details. I guess their system purges that info? At any rate - stay far away from this company. It's absolutely USELESS."
"Eddie Bauer quality and style of clothing has dropped over the last decade. For such plain style clothing (keep looking for something new & fresh), the quality has dropped below their pricing model. Feels like material is disappearing (collared blouses, tank top shoulders, thickness of material, and coat zipper quality). I quit ordering from EB because the quality is not even worth the sale prices."
"I bought a jacket from Eddie Bauer that was flawed. The lining on the back of the jacket was too short and couldn't be folded to make a proper seam. As a result, because it wasn't attached securely to the polyester shell, it shredded. Eddie Bauer is leaning on it's one-year warranty to refuse to compensate me for a manufacturing problem."
"I have ordered two parkas. As with many other reviews I received order confirmation and stated delivery 5-7 days. Overseas call centre is an absolute joke - they just babble crap to you and tell you 14 more days when no one knows anything. it’s now three weeks and time sensitive gift. I’m going to call my credit card company and complain - explain and have them intervene & get my money back . I feel conned "
"Deceptive Businesses practices. Decent clothing but what does that matter if you do not get it when needed. Plenty of other places for same quality or better now. Ordered something for my son's Christmas present well in advance of Christmas. (About 4 weeks ago). The order page did NOT state it was out of stock. If it had, I would have ordered something different. (Different color perhaps). Received an Order confirmation directly after I placed the order which stated: "Estimated Arrival: 5 - 7 business days". It said "ARRIVAL". Of course I believed that it meant arrival to me. Not arrival to one of their warehouses,... whenever the heck that would be. Why would customers care about that? Called about the order and the foriegn customer service rep (probably working for $2/hr in a large call center somewhere were wages are terrible) told me that it was back-ordered and they would not receive it until after Christmas. Then it would ship to me. Well after Christmas. This is just plain deceptive. I'm sure their MRP/ERP system is totally automated and they could (if they wanted to be honest) program the system to alert the customer at the confirmation that the item is not in stock. Seems they do not want to chance loosing a sale, so they would rather be deceptive. It's a shame because that is a sure fire way to loose customers. I am also quite sure that they could locate the item in one of their stores through their MRP/ERP system and have it sent out from a store... but I guess that would cost them more and the bean counters have calculated that it is preferred for them (profit wise) to take a chance and upset a customer."
"I ordered my son a coat on Nov 9. They kept taking money out of my account, then putting it back, then taking it out Agfinity, then putting it back. ( CONTINUING TO CHANGE MY SHIPPING DATE FURTHER, AND FURTHER!!!! ) I CONTACTED CUSTOMER SERVICE SEVERAL TIMES!!! THEY DID NOTHING! I have been a customer of Eddie bauer for years!! I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM EVER AGAIN!!!!! "I recently (end of October) placed an order through EB Canada for some fleece lined pants for the cold winters in Alberta, I would have gladly gotten the items in store however, they do not carry the tall length in store thus, I had to order online. First, choosing the tall length costs more than the regular length pant and at the time of purchase only the petite and regular options were on sale but the tall was full price. I spoke to customer service and they were able to give me the sale price on the tall length which was appreciated but if I had not reached out I would have paid more. Second, I got notified of shipping a few days after I placed my order, three weeks later, tracking had not changed and I had no further email notification of it being delayed or what was going on. I contacted customer service 3 times where they told me they could do nothing for me until after 15 business days (my package was supposed to arrive within 5-7 business days and I live in a major city) and then they could refund me. I finally was able to get my refund (3.5 weeks later and now the end of November) and placed a second order in hopes that this was an one off issue as I still needed some fleece lined pants for the winter and cannot seem to find any other options in a tall length (the only reason I repurchased). On my fourth time talking with customer service I was able to request express shipping for my second order due to the issue with my first (they did not offer me anything and I had to ask for this) which they agreed to, this meant my order should arrive within 2-3 business days. It is now over a week later and still no package. I do not plan to ever order from EB again and will never recommend it to anyone. I have placed orders from out of country and around the world and had an easier time, EB needs to seriously fix their online shopping as it is completely inaccurate and everything stated about shipping online on their website is a lie. "
"Still waiting for my order that I put in on November 5. I'm aware the items did not ship until Nov. 9th, although I don't understand what took so long. ? I just talked to customer service, and they said standard shipping is 7-10 business days from the day it shipped, NOT the day it was purchased.
On YOUR website, "Standard Shipping" (free), says it will take 5-7 business days.
This is the second time I have ordered from you for a gift that was time sensitive. This is the second time you have blown the shipping of said items
