Then on a Thursday night I heard a commercial for a free communication weekend and thought that no one would want to talk to me. "I am very satisfied with my experience on Eharmony. It focused me on what was important to me in a relationship, what qualities was I seeking in my relationships and partners. Eharmony has multiple layers and requires you to be an active participant and go thru a process of meeting and getting to know new people not just on a surface level but to find out who they really are. It is not a quick process and it requires commitment.
But if you honestly apply yourself and go through the process, you meet really interesting people. Yes I did connect with some individuals that were not an appropriate fit but that is part of the process.
Honestly I was very hesitant about joining Eharmony, however my close friend recommended the site. My last relationship was very difficult. I had lost my boyfriend due to cancer and knew it was time to move on but did not know how. Eharmony gave me the tools and ability to cautiously open up to new beginnings.
End result is I have met someone and I am really truly happy. The time we spent getting to know one another on eharmony (it was almost 2 month from our first conversation till we met in person) it was so natural and comfortable when we finally did meet. He is a wonderful person with tremendous moral values, terrific sense of humor and his smile just lights up my world.
Only recommendation I would have for the site is making it easier to disengage when you have found that someone. It is a bit tricky and cumbersome.
