“We received an email from this customer on Thursday, Sept 24th. The email was received from a different email address than the one the customer used for their order. The email unfortunately lacked an order number or a name, so we could not locate the appropriate order.
We replied on Monday, Sept 28th explaining that we were missing the information but would love to help. We offered to help even if the customer had purchased it from another distributor or dealer.
The customer may have had issues with their email - because they did not respond to our email and instead initiated a resolution within PayPal on Sept 30. We responded to that right away - and with the transaction information we were able to know who the customer was and get an immediate "hot" replacement unit out. Once in a very great while some products do have a manufacturing defect or are damaged in shipping. We felt bad that our PayPal email did not work and caused frustration to the customer (we fixed that email address right away), so we sent out the replacement unit without waiting for the damaged unit to be returned.
We also provided a prepaid return label for the customer to return the defective unit. The brand new replacement unit was delivered to the customer on Oct. 2. We have been in contact with the customer since numerous times and they seem to be very happy with our service.”
