Can't control what they sell: technology. Poor customer service.

"I was shopping for a mini-stereo as a gift for my family. ElectronicExpress had the same price as a behemoth online retailer, so I though, let's help the little guy for once. Upon choosing the product, I got a prompt saying if I subscribe to their e-mail list, I'd get a 5% off coupon. Great, I thought, and I placed the order.
One full day later, I receive an e-mail saying my order had been cancelled, because somehow my credit card had been declined, and they did not have information as to why it was declined. (That was ridiculous, I had been using that credit card several times that day.)
I call their customer service hotline, and the lady was utterly unable and unwilling to help:
- said they can't reinstate the order,
- and if I were to retry the order, I'd have to use a different credit card or PayPal (neither of which I have)
- and that my coupon was a "one-time use", such that even for a cancelled order, it was deemed used up and I could not get another one,
- and suggested I provide another e-mail address to receive a new coupon... and the requisite double-dose of spam.

These are clear signs they run a business without having good control of what they sell: technology. They outsource the credit card processor, and don't know what and why the processor is doing. They issue electronic coupons, and don't track properly whether they have been used or not. They want to send you ads, and of course won't care whether you'll shop there again.

Sheesh, why did I even bother with ElectronicExpress.com? After revisiting the ordering process, I have a very good idea of why they rejected my order: they have a bug in their web site. However, since they care so little about such a little order from a little new customer, whose family will be disappointed this XMas day, let's leave it at that.

Late Delivery

"I bought a TV from Electronic Express 11-25-2018 Delivery date was to be on or before 12-6-2018. At present 12-11-2018 my order is sitting in Sacramento, Ca. and will not bedelivered to me until 12-14-2018. The purchase was handled through Amazon.com I have contacted Amazon, Electronic Express and the Carrier SEKO Logistics. The last answer from them (SEKO) was we don't deliver to your area until Friday, so now my package will be 8 days later than the orignal delivery date. After this experince I will not do business with Electronic Express."

Failure to provide the service they sold

"I have purchased 8 appliances from Electronic Express in the last 3 years. I purchased a dishwasher on 9-29-18. They pushed to sell a add on contract to deliver and install the dishwasher. There was no verbal or written restrictions on the install contract. On the delivery date of 10-3-18 they refused to install because the water shut off valve was located under the house. The delivery truck knocked two 6 inch limbs out of a tree when leaving. They refused to refund my money unless I drove the 100 miles round trip back to the store. They never offered to reimburse for damages to the tree. I suggest you spend your money with a company that provides quality service to their returning custo"

They have become my go-to retailer for big ticket items!

"Electronic Express treated me more than fair, they treated me with exceptional customer service and they even matched their own sale price on an expensive TV after a week after I took delivery!

Use facebook for communicating with them as I can tell you anyone that has published an email address gets so many spam emails it's difficult to not miss importand customer letters! Facebook Messenger was how I contacted them and they replied to every inquiry and didn't even pause on refunding to me $500.00 to reflect a Christmas sales price on an 86" tv I purchased from them!

Electronic Express price on my TV beat Amazon, Sams Club, and Walmart, and BJ's, even Costco! They shipped it free and I didn't need to pay tax. They later price matched a sales price a full week later after I bought!

I'm going to return to Electronic Express for all my big Item purchases!

If your goal is the very best price and quick shipping, Electronic Express does not play games, they don't bait and switch, and they deliver exactly what you order... FAST!

Excellent Customer Service

"We bought a gaming PC the week before Christmas at the Hixson, TN store, it was the last one in Stock, so we got the floor model. It was from Santa, so Christmas morning came and time to set-up the computer and it was locked! Because it was a floor model it had a password on it. I tried forever with no luck, with my child on the brink of tears. It's Christmas Day? I was stuck. I remembered the salesman Vernon Moore (I believe that's the last name). I got to checking Facebook and he had linked his page to the electronic Express page, so I was able to find him, but I still didn't know if I could get in contact with him, after all it's Christmas! I sent him a pm, and sure enough he called me back in just a few, and was apologizing to me! I called him on Christmas and he's apologizing for not thinking about the password on the computer!!!!! Not many people would have helped a desperate mom out on their day off, little on Christmas! Hats off to Vernon and Electronic Express for going above and beyond to make a little boy and his mom's day!!!!! Electronic Express will be my go to store, they care about their customers, not just the sale!"

Low Price for the Product I wanted - IMMEDIATE SHIPMENT

"I ordered a brother printer to replace the one I had from 7 years ago, it was just time. I was a bit nervous not familiar with the company, but their reviews were good and they beat out the prices of all the other retailers. Today it arrived - less than 1 day when I placed the order online. Took me not even 20 minutes to completely set it up and it is exactly what I was looking for. I couldn't be more pleased with their service and the fact that they had the quality product I wanted at a price that was so competitive no one else matched it."

"I inadvertently ordered an ipad from them on Walmart.com's website on 12/21/15 because the website stated my item would ship 2-day shipping for free, in time for Christmas, and arrive on 12/23/15. When I received the notice it had shipped and I checked my tracking information, I discovered they shipped my item standard ground service and the expected delivery date was well after Christmas.I then tried to get in touch with them and was on hold on the phone for more than 45 minutes when I finally had to hang up. I tried emailing them several times, but no response was received. I then ordered my item from amazon on the 23rd and received from them the next day. I never received Electronic EXpress' ipad because I called FEDEX on the 26th and asked them to return it before delivery, that they had shipped it ground in error. FEDEX sent it back to them. They received their unopened package and proceeded to charge my credit card 24.90 for a restocking fee. I tried sending their customer service several emails to resolve the issue, but they don't respond.
I emailed Walmart and they responded in about a day. I am upset that Walmart even has sellers like this selling stuff on their website. It is very difficult for customers to figure out who they are actually buying from. They caused me to pay amazon for 1 day shipping service in order to get my item in time, and then they charge me a restocking fee? I filed with the BBB and to date have not heard from Electronic Express yet. This experience has made me upset and sick to my stomach, made me a nervous wreck. I go out of my way to only order from reputable businesses, I will not let this happen with these people again. Amazon saved my holiday, but I had to pay for that.

"DON'T BOTHER! I placed an order with Electronic Express through Amazon, and they completely screwed me. First, my item was supposed to ship on the Monday or Tuesday after I placed my order on a Sunday. When I inquired as to why my item hadn't shipped yet on Thursday, I was told they were waiting for the items to be returned from their retail stores. Fair enough....this was a gift that was now arriving late, so I told the person what I got them. Now Electronic Express has just cancelled my order without even talking to me. They said the unit they received from their retail store was opened. How is that my problem?? Well they made it my problem because now I can't get that item for even close to the same price. I will never buy from this seller ever again. "

"This place has horrible customer service! I just spent over 1700 on a tv there and somehow paypal put my previous address as the shipping address. I contacted them as soon as I noticed but the tv had already been shipped.

I contacted Fedex and they told me that the shipper could change the delivery address and that I should contact them. When I called them the guy that I talked to was very rude and said it was against company policy and I would either have to have it returned and repay shipping (even though it was free shipping) or have it held at a fedex location (which the nearest one is an hour away and only open 8-10 am which is when I am sleeping as I work nights)

He also informed me that if I canceled my order I would have to pay a restocking fee.

When I asked to speak with a supervisor I was transfered to a lady named Holly, she basically told me the same thing. They wouldn't even let me varify my correct address (which is also varified on paypal).

I wouldn't recomend anybody purchase from them based on their shotty customer service.

"My bad that I did not search and read this scam website review before I shop at Electronics Express.
I'd to order a Panasonic Link to Cell at EE. I called Electronics Express to make sure my order; Panasonic Link to Cell cordless phone" is NEW before place an order. The sale guy said "Yes, it's new!".
I don't believe my eyes that I got completely USED and bad cosmetic phones packed around a junk box, bad manual guy and there's no battery.
15% re-stock fee that means they can make 15% for every item by un-honest sale plus you have to pay shipping cost???
Never and never stop by Electronics Express again. I would to suggest you all that don't be stupid and waste your money with un-honest people.

"I have ordered an audio switch HTS6 but they didn't have it in stock. Instead of informing me "out of stock" they shipped the speakers HT3 to me (???). I have called back and rep gave me the shipping label to ship back and guarantee me the correct item will be out of the door went they receive the speakers. A week later I called them and they told me that they don't have the switch HTS6 and promise to refund me. I will never deal with this scam again. They are simply bad in doing online business. "
