"Didn’t receive product and they never answer email or phone "
"I ordered a bunch of parts during black Friday: very easy ordering, fair pricing (with awesome discounts!), accurate picking & fast delivery of parts! Setting the bar for dealers everywhere! "
"I recently ordered a bunch of parts online to have delivered to the dealership for me to pick up. I received updates by email that the order was ready within a day. I was in and out of the dealership within 10 minutes. No issues. Great job!"
"The ordering was easy and percise with the assurance that the parts I ordered would fit my vehicle. The processing and shipment was fast, with delivery following quickly. "
"When I called to confirm the correct part, the rep was very rude and belittled me and made me fell like I didn't know anything. That is the reason people call to get the correct part and make sure it fits properly. Don't think I will do business with this place again."
"I saw a Toyota facebook post for a Holiday 25% discount on accessories and parts. My 2014 Prius had it's original 12 volt battery so I figured it was a good time to replace it. With the discount Toyota had the best price. I ordered the battery online. Shipping was free but batteries could not be shipped. My local Toyota dealer was not on the list so I chose Elmhurst which isn't hard to get to. It was ready to be picked up right away. When I went to pick it up a sales person pointed me to the Parts Department. I rang the bell at the Parts Department and someone came out right away, looked up my order and got my new battery. In and out real quick!"
"Good price on parts but if you order them and end up not needing all of them, there is a hefty 20% restocking fee if you decide not to get them. Choose wisely or get them someplace else"
"I had ordered a part online through the dealership website for pickup. The prices and ease of use on the dealer webpage were above my expectation and the order was prepared and ready for pickup faster than I had expected. The parts department employee was very helpful and a true pleasure to deal with. I will be coming back to this store because of the superior pricing and quality of help I received. "
"Always great experience, prices are good and staff is very helpful "
"I've been a parts customer at McGrath Elmhurst Toyota at least four times. Good online prices. I received great counter service from Michelangelo and other staff. A bit out of my way on the commute but it's worth the drive."
"Great! Kind and swift, nice staff. "
"Website from this location has issues ordering parts , I select my car VIN and I couldn’t get the right parts. Very frustrating and disappointing. "
"Very efficient parts department "
"I converted my Toyota Tacoma's tires and rims to TRD and more rugged tires. I called my local dealership but did not get a response after two attempts so, reached out to Elmhurst, where I used to live and always had good experiences with. They responded and quoted me very quickly, great experience. Then, upon arrival we were reviewing the services and numerous items were added, items like a wheel alignment, tire user fees, tire disposal fee, pressure sensor holders, etc. All made sense when discussed but I don't like additions when a quote is provided. (And drove 40 minutes in traffic to get there so leaving was more difficult) On a positive, they did provide a loaner for the service time at no cost. I did have to pay for gas, another $20. Final comment, the installation seems to be solid so far, Im enjoying the tires. They did not clean the tires after installing them so there was a white goop, dripping down on several of the tires, that I had to wash off. Just some minor customer service concerns that I learned a lesson from, I will certainly obtain more detail next time. Was an opportunity for them to satisfy me, who generally is a pretty easy and loyal customer. "
"parts department did good, parts arrived, mechanic did his job, car was done early.
There is only 1 issue and it is wide spread among dealers, national chain repair shops etc. This issue is charging to read the
DTC codes. Some chain parts suppliers will read the codes for free and give the owner a printout of the codes.
The only really bad spot is that the service manuals for my car are no longer available and they are not going to be printed again.
I would think that once a auto manufacturer decides to end production of printed service manuals that they would put the manuals
on line, or simply down the manuals to DVD and make those available for purchase for enthusiastic DYIs."
