"I did a ton of research to land on eluktronics (watch bob of all trades for the best review). I went for the max-17, although I was a bit intimidated by the larger chassis it isn't much bigger than my current XPS 15. I am pretty confident it will be the right choice in the end due to its light-weight body. The customization + MUX switch really threw this over the top for me. This laptop/desktop replacement checks all of the boxes because we now have full control on how we can use this machine (mine will be connected to a 38" monitor mostly, but when I want to use it on the couch, I'll be able to adjust power as needed). Looking forward to using it first hand!"
