"What HORRIBLE customer service. I am a mac user and while their sign-up states that mac users can print international postage - it cannot!!
So I called customer service to cancel my account and after being on hold for 20 minutes, I had to hang up (I DO have a business to run).
Horrible company, promises it cannot deliver on, horrible customer support and NO mac support what-so-ever!!
Beware and stay away from this company !!!!!
If I could give it ZERO stars I would!!!!"
"I’ve always been a fan of Dymo/Endicia. I buy the label writer printers, I buy unique stamps to support them instead of getting cheaper off-brand labels and I spend somewhere around a few hundred a month on postage for my business. That is going to change now. I will be switching to Stamps.com and Zebra printers because the way I was treated.
In the beginning of October Endicia started charging my checking account on file instead of the credit card that I’ve been using for as long as I can remember. The account they started charging is not in use and has no money on it. So about one week later I received a letter in the mail from my bank stating that there have been thirteen charges that have been returned due to insufficient funds. My bank is now charging me $229.86. That number is after I tried to get them to lower it. It was originally $294.33. I later found out it was Endicia charging my account and I quickly made a call to customer service.
The customer service representative told me he had no idea how this happened. He confirmed to me that the credit card WAS marked as the payment method. However, he still blamed me for changing the account payment information. He told me “you must have hit the TAB key and accidentally hit save”. Wow, who do you take me for? I’m not that stupid. Plus I’m not sure if that’s possible. How is that the first and only conclusion that comes to mind for the Endicia representative?
My bank told me all I need is for Endicia to remove the charges from the wrong payment method or to tell my bank to remove the fees because it was an error. I didn’t think that would be a problem because that isn’t that hard. I thought too soon. When I brought that up to the rep he said “There’s nothing I can do, we cannot contact your bank”. That’s funny because you had no problem charging it without permission.
So to summarize what happened:
Endicia charged the wrong account.
Endicia has no clue why it happened.
Endicia blamed me for somehow changing the account information idiotically.
Now I have to pay my bank a few hundred dollars because of their mistakes.
I was not looking for money or anything out of pocket in their end. I was only looking for some help and a little bit of effort and time. This could have been solved by simply handling my problem and taking care of it like most companies do with their customers who keep them in business. Not Endicia I Guess."
"Brian Swinney is the name of endicia support, should be a sample for all support teams, ready able willing and successful."
"This company has very unresponsive customer support via email. While they make a good software application, their customer support is horribly lacking. They also do not follow through on their promises whatsoever.
I had a special sign up deal where they offered several items for free and even emailed me confirmation that I would receive these items (order number included and everything). It turned out they never even fulfilled the order..."
