"I worked with ERD to purchase my then fiance's engagement ring. As an accountant and someone who considers himself to be fairly tech savvy I would say that I did more than a little bit of research on diamonds over an entire year. I was extremely specific in regards to what I was looking for in a diamond and setting.

I worked directly with Gary and he was very helpful. Being in the NYC metro area I was able to share exactly what I was looking for and make an appointment to review in person the diamonds that met my specifications. I found Gary to be knowledgeable and at no point did he try and rush me to a decision or sway me to a specific diamond. I appreciated this as I knew I wasn't getting pushed into something they wanted to get rid of or something they could make a larger profit on.

I ultimately decided upon a 2.4ct antique cushion cut diamond with two half moon diamonds on each side. They were able to have the ring custom made in a few weeks and it was gorgeous.

Lastly, I very much tried to negotiate on price. I was told that as wholesalers they do not deviate from price and after multiple attempts I was only able to get an insignificant reduction. I priced the diamonds to blue nile and others and they seemed to be very competitive so I was comfortable with my final price.
