"I like the product, but it was a little bent. The grip at the top of the compass is a bit bent, hardly what one would expect from a quality product, especially a new one). It took a bit longer to get here than I expected from the way the service suggested at the time of purchase. It was packed well, and except for that slightly, but noticeably bent part, I was pleased with it. It is perfectly functional, however. Well, not actually. I think that the light bend on that part, where the compass is gripped, creates an eccentric turning process, so that there is a variable pressure that is not even when turning it.

Sadly, it took so long to get it, and it was such a slow communication process, I don't want to attempt to send it back for a proper and unbent compass. It has definitely shaken my faith in ordering things online, especially anything that should be of high quality and well-constructed, being used for delicate or precise work.

Hell, that bend is just inappropriate. I can't believe they didn't look at it and say to themselves "I could send him this slightly bent up one, or a perfectly straight one like it ought to be" and then just do the right thing."
