"Ordered a replacement battery for my Canon 1D digital camera from this store on April 13, 2009. I paid VERY promptly and received an e-mail stating that my order had been shipped on 4/14. I was also provided a tracking number at the time of 0220001124844683616 - as it turns out this is NOT a valid tracking number and never was. It seems to have been completely made up by the company. I have e-mails from them later in the saga where they blatantly tell me that the number is, in fact, not valid and it never was.

It has been almost 15 days since payment of this order and I still have not received it and they cannot tell me the status of the order. I am simply being told to 'wait" and 'be patient" in some of the most canned e-mail responses I have ever seen from a retailer. The package is coming from California to Idaho - it certainly should be here by now. I am doubting that it was ever shipped to be honest.

They say that they use some funky combination of DHL to take it to my post office and then my mailman will deliver it. Sounds iffy to me. Either way, it has not worked to get me my package to this point.

These guys do not have phone support and the e-mails, when they are answered, come from people that can barely type English sentences and they all say about the same thing - "you need to be patient'. I would not come near this company again with a 10 foot pole. BUYER BEWARE!!!

UPDATE: 5/5/09 - I filed a dispute with Paypal for the transaction and magically a replacement battery was immediately sent (with a VALID tracking number so they could provide that to Paypal to settle the dispute)and I received it just a few days after it was shipped. Why couldn't they have used that shipping service the first time?

The battery is VERY poor quality and does not fit well at all in my camera, which is just insult to injury at this point.
