"Once again I have been pleased with my FCP experience: prompt delivery, fair shipping charges, quality parts at reasonable prices, easy return process. I did have a problem with this order. The plastic spoiler (air guide) which fits under the radiator of my 97 850 GLT had become detached because the right side support bracket had broken, and I decided to order a replacement. I looked at PN 9135445 on the FCP website, and although it didn't look exactly like what I needed, I decided to order it. This turned out to be a bad choice on my part. When I took it to be installed, it became apparent that this was not the right part. The mechanic decided that the best course of action was to make a repair to the damaged part. I did return the part to FCP via UPS. The shipping charges turned out to be about the same as I paid for the part. In retrospect, I should have
given it to the mechanic. Moral of my story: If you are not sure of what you need, get assistance to verify your exact need before you place the order. (In my case, put the car on a lift, and try to find a part number ) And my suggestion to FCP: enhance the description of the part you are selling to help avoid confusion on the part of the purchaser. There is a difference between a skid plate and an air guide.
I still highly recommend FCP Euro for replacement Volvo parts...
