When my order didn't ship out as soon as I hoped it would, I called customer service & spoke with "Sam." He checked with the shipping department while I waited, then assured me that the package was ready to go out. It had missed the truck on the previous business day but it was definitely ready to leave the warehouse. Since I had a short deadline for the project that the fabric was being used for, and I had read some of the negative reviews here, I held my breath. Big relief! "Ordered vinyl from FWD and paid for shipping to Canada. Saw the item was shipped. A week later, still no news so I check FedEx tracking. Item is being held at Memphis for "Exceptions". Emailed FWD Customer service asking for information...2 days later, no news, emailed again...still no news. Finally called and customer rep said he'd look into it and call back. He did but told me "Call FedEx and deal with them"

Seems they never filled the paperwork for Customs and I had to do all of it. Now, this is not the first time I deal with purchaisng south of the border and every time, the seller deals with the paperwork as one of those told me "Until you receive it, it's our problem" Well, I guess that FWD moto is: "Once we have your money and we ship it, it's not our problem..."

Thought about sending a well worded email to whoever is in charge, b ut that information is impossible to find. No wonder they are not BBB accredited.

"I purchased 3 types of fabrics: cotton broadcloth in a avariety of colors, 70 denier in yellow, and poplin in fuschia. All colors were mostly accurate to screen- the fuschia cotton broachloth and fuschia poplin were different colors (the broadcloth wasdarker and closer to a deeper purple) but otherwise all colors were as expected. Fabric quality was genuinely quite nice- reviews worried me about the site but since the fabric was so cheap I decided to just go for it. It's possible that they're better on their etsy since they have 4.5 stars on there.

As for shipping, I paid for standard shipping $7. They took about1.5 weeks to package my fabrics, and they gave me expediated 2 day shipping. Unsureif that's standard or because it took so long to source my fabrics.

"The fabric color I ordered was not as represented. A large flaw in fabric and ink marks on fabric that did not wash out. Never again!"

" They send the product dirty, with a combination of stains. Unusable. Then, they point fingers at the mail man, and reply that the spots weren’t that bad. So, their response was that I could use a white fabric with black grease handprints all over it to reupholster a costumer piece. They took their sweet time to answered me with all kind of nonsenses and did not replace de unusable product. Due to the necessity of finishing the piece I was working with, I bought some more yards with the hope of receiving something usable. I just pay again for a second order which arrived in a worse condition. The white material has black hand prints all over it, and this time the packing was so improper that the part of clean fabric was also damage. I called them and is none to answer. They ask for emails so they do no have to present their faces. I been working with fabric in daily basis for more than 20 years. I received the worse product and service from this company. I ordered two pieces of fabric a yard each on 6/03/19. I waited until 6/12/19 to call them because I hadn't received any shipping info by that point. I figured I'd give the benefit of a doubt that they just hadn't reached my order yet.

On the 12th, I was put on hold for 5 min as the rep "checked my status". If I can see the status of "unfulfilled" on my end and he was given the order number AND could list the details of my order back to me, HE ALSO SAW the status was unfulfilled on his end. This was code for, "we don't have the order prepared, and now I need to ask what B.S. I'm supposed to tell the customer".

Sure enough, he came back with B.S. saying that my order shipped the previous night and that I would be recieving tracking information THAT NIGHT.

I'm sure that if I called a different day, the order would have been shipped the night before then as well.

Also not sure how it takes 24 hours to get tracking of an item that supposedly has already shipped. But at 11:47 pm, I received an email with my tracking number and a delivery date of 6/14/19.

Interesting, seeing as how I paid for standard shipping of 5-7 days. But I'm not going to complain about that part because they had already sat on my order for over a week.

And when I looked at the tracking history it stated that a shipping label had been created on 6/04/19--The DAY AFTER I placed my order. It also said it was accepted at USPS Origin Facility on 6/12/19. If you remember that was the day I called them.

To top it all off: the fabrics smell. One of my fabric pieces was cut so badly that I am missing a good 6 inches on one end. The other white fabric has marks that I cannot get off. "
