"Ordered ICM271c control board for the furnace, because the old one had a bad relay and the blower would not shut off. I ordered online on sunday evening, got the package at about 10:20am on tuesday, installed and problem fixed by 11:30am!
I am very satisfied with the service, as we head out of town for the winter break in a few hours, and could not have left with the furnace issue. I really needed the board to come in today, and it did!"

"I was really in a bind for a part for our water heater (ignition control sp10758) found it on google top of the list. famousparts.com had it for $108.00 with free next day air shipping. some places said no longer available others had it including next day air shipping from $190.00 to $225.00 .I took the chance and the gamble ordered it on wed. sept 9th 2009 part came brand new in the box never opened thursday sept. 10th 2009 b-4 10:00 am . we had hot water by 12 noon got it fast saved a lot of money these guys are the best goin thanks a lot

"These guys are essentially crooks. Ordered a blower motor, had it installed, it was defective. Wouldn't send me another out until I sent the other one in. Had no choice but to have another over nighted to me. Worked fine, sent the defective one in. Now they won't refund me for the defective one, say they only give exchanges??? For a blower motor...in the middle of winter??? Work with me, huh. So I am out $222. Customer service is rude, that is when you can actually talk to someone. They put you on hold, and 10 minutes later, click. I have to call them crooks, looks like they is a concerted effort on their part to defraud their customers. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!"
"I had a positive experience with this company.
I ordered a blower shell housing and received it four days after I ordered. I sent an e-mail after three days and they promptly replied.
You have to keep in mind that often times HVAC parts are drop shipped from the manufacturer. If the part is in stock at a warehouse some place, you get your part within a week, if it is out of stock, you will have to wait until the manufacturer makes more, and that can take up to 90 days, some times more. In the past, I have had to wait over two months for my local HVAC place to get parts that were out of stock."

When I called, was told there was a problem with the address on the credit card. Confirmed address, told it would ship immediately. On the 16th, still no status update so called again. When I complained about lack of status, they hung up on me and canceled my order. They wasted two weeks on a critical part."

Here is my experience ordering from famousparts.com:
I am in Canada and I like to verify that U.S. merchants can ship to Canada.
Feb 28: I called to confirm the shipping information. Told shipping to Canada is not a problem, and if I placed an order today, it will ship tomorrow. I placed the order on their site immediately after the phone call.
Mar 9: I called to check on my order. I was told it was going to ship the next day.
Mar 17: I left two messages on their voice mail. My calls were not returned. I checked the Yahoo stores site, and my order says cancelled. I sent an email asking why it was cancelled, and they said it is because they don’t ship to Canada.
-Why did they tell me over the phone (twice) that it was no problem?
-Why does their site accept an order for a Canadian address?
-Why was I told twice that the order would ship the next day?
-If they decided that they weren’t able to ship to Canada, why did they not notify me?
-Why couldn’t they even have the courtesy of telling me that they cancelled my order?
Considering the type of parts they sell, water heater and furnace parts, you’d think that they would understand the urgency and need for proper communication throughout the ordering process.
