"Informed that my order was cancelled because I evidently didn’t respond in their timeframe. Why should I reorder with this company when they evidently are lackadaisical about their paying customers? "
"My recent encounter with FaucetDepot has left me thoroughly disillusioned and frustrated. After purchasing a part for my water heater from their store, I expected a seamless transaction and a reliable product. Unfortunately, what followed was a series of disappointments that underscored the company's lack of customer-centric policies and support.
The part I acquired from FaucetDepot indeed fit onto my water heater, but the wiring proved to be a glaring issue. Despite my best efforts to troubleshoot, the part failed to function correctly, rendering it useless. Naturally, I sought to return the item for a refund or exchange, only to be met with an unexpected obstacle: FaucetDepot's rigid return policy.
To my dismay, I was informed that once the part was installed, regardless of its operational status, it became ineligible for return. This clause was conspicuously absent from their return policy, leaving me feeling deceived and trapped with a defective product. Despite presenting the part in its pristine condition, FaucetDepot adamantly refused to offer any form of compensation, not even store credit.
Adding insult to injury, my attempt to return the item occurred merely one day after I tried it. It's incredulous that FaucetDepot would uphold such inflexible policies, especially given the circumstances.
The lack of empathy and flexibility displayed by FaucetDepot's customer service team is deeply disappointing. Their unwillingness to accommodate a legitimate grievance reflects poorly on their commitment to customer satisfaction. As a result of this experience, I urge fellow consumers to exercise caution when dealing with FaucetDepot. While their products may appear promising, their customer service and return policies fall short of expectations.
In conclusion, my interaction with FaucetDepot has been nothing short of regrettable. Proceed with caution, as the convenience of purchasing from this retailer may come at the cost of unresolved issues and customer dissatisfaction."
"Ordered items on a wed, noticed pending sale on credit card no response from company. On Thursday a fraudulent charge from Priceline for a $789 hotel room shows up on credit card. They have a bogus Web site. Buyer be very aware "
"0 stars,
One of the worst experiences with trying to order material.
Called to make sure a item was is stock and ready to ship and was told it was already in the warehouse they ship out of, great, place online order and then nothing, called to check on status and was told order never went thru, however there was a charge on the card and no explanation on how the charges appeared but no order was placed.
The first call I was told there was no way to look into it without a order number, so I call the credit card company and they provide a reference number provided by “ faucet depot” ( yes lowercase for a lowercase company) and call back and finally speak to a “ manager “ and she finds the order info, but again can’t explain what happened.
What kind of company is this???"
"Bought AP904 Water Filtration system and it took nearly 2 months for delivery. Once delivered, the item was a used or returned item with missing hardware and an unsealed filter. It was discovered when the scheduled contracted plumber came onsite and opened the mailed pacckage. I sent pictures for proof to FaucetDepot.
Company is unwilling to to develop solutions that would expedite resolving issues with the customer (i.e., simply send a new replacement filter). I was not asking to replace the hardware since it was just scratched up and functional and the plumber had hardware to make up for the missing items.
I paid perfectly good money for a new item and got a used item!
DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE FOLKS."
"Had a hard time looking for a specific Moen handle. Other sites had the handle hub for $40. (Shipping for these sites were $8-$12 usually so it would've been $52)
Faucet Depot had it for $27 and they even sold the handle for $4. Shipping was $8. So for the same price I got the hub, handle, and even the shipping for around $40.
Sent them an email about part availability of another handle and got a response with in 24 hours. I quickly got a tracking number email and mail invoice.
Shipping took 6 days. I see people complaining that's tool long but I feel like people have gotten spoiled by 2 day shipping. Other websites that had the just the hub for $40 also had ship times of 3-6 weeks. I don't know about you but 6 days is better than 6 weeks.
Most likely will buy from again if my local stores don't got what I need."
"I ordered some equipment from them. It was not as described when I emailed them about it they said once installed it is non returnable.
If I could I would give no stars but this page will not allow it.
Beware all consumers they will say it is exact but it is not."
"If you are in emergency do not buy from these people.order was placed on Wednesday after charging me 27 dollars for the shipping the product was delivered on Monday after 6 days.bad customer service as well"
"Bought item based on the picture, it was a pfister mixing valve (the one I needed), I believe pfister have upgraded the mixing valve but I needed the older model. What I got was the new model which I could have bought at the big box store and paid a lot less. Now I have to pay to return it. Customer service told me not to go by the picture; wrong way to run an internet business where what we buy is based mostly on the picture!"
"I wish I could give them ZERO stars! These guys ****. I ordered a faucet from them & the wrong one was shipped to me. We were flooded by Hurricane Harvey, & it's near impossible to get workers to come. I ordered the faucet in advance & it took a lot longer to get to the point where we needed to install the faucet. Long story short...since it was more than 30 days, they're charging a 20% restocking fee for a mistake they made. DO NOT buy from them. They don't care about customers. They only care about money. I'm kicking myself for not checking their reviews before I bought from them!"
"i have been doing plumbing for over 25 years needed an old style basement utility shower faucet, so i talked to a woman named theresa who she said she is the manager there and never heard of this faucet, sorry but if your suppose to be a specialist and taking orders online then you need to know what you are doing, needless to say i went on faucetdirect.com and they knew exactly what i was talking about and gave the link to order it, i ordered it in less than 5 minutes. faucet depot needs to have skilled or at least someone who has knowledge of the plumbing trade, not someone who says they are the manage and never heard of that type of faucet, unreal. then she gives me an email to email her the pic of the faucet, i emailed it to her in like 20 seconds only for her to tell me that someone will contact me within 48 hours, lol, i am sorry but she should not be in the management position at this place. "
"Was looking for a Wilkins pressure regulator kit for a High pressure 600/600XL
Shannon B was good at identifying exactly what was needed and also explained why.
Ordering was quick and easy.
This is after 2 days of looking for a part that other suppliers just said "we don't stock/sell that".
I'm super stoked"
"I placed an order 4 business days ago. The web site quotes 1-3 days to ship and 1-5 days for delivery from a local source. I contacted after not receiving tracking at 3 days. I live in Maine. The order will ship today from California per the representative. She said they sent an email for warehouse transfer on the day I ordered. The email says Order Acknowledgement no mention of delay. I will translate warehouse transfer = ordered from their supplier.
My recommendation: do not order repair parts unless you confirm local availability."
"Faucet Depot had the best price I could find for the AutoCirc pump I needed, but I was initially concerned with the poor rating here. But after seeing very good ratings on BizRate, eBay and a couple more sites, I took a chance. No problems. Would buy from them again."
"Ordered an item listed as "in stock" which I assumed meant in stock in California....nope apparently "in stock" means in Maryland. Item was listed for Fedex or UPS Ground shipping....nope, apparently that means Reddway Freight. So an item I thought I would receive in a couple of days will take at least 10 days. Very misleading and dishonest. Would have been cheaper through Amazon. "
