"The exact same thing happened to me. I ordered a "May-tag filter" (it states on my receipt) and got a cheap brand EcoAqua. Plus when I opened the sticker seal (very cheap seal and wrapping) it had particles on it, it seams to be dirty. There are quite a few comments with similar problems I wouldn't doubt it if they are posting the positive comments them selves. The first issue I had was that it took forever to arrive. I tried contacting them due to shipping, incorrect brand and now I'm trying to return (which it states clearly on there website "hassle free returns"). I don't get an answer over the phone and through email. None of their employees have tried contacting me. Please DON'T ORDER FROM FILTERS OUTLET! It's a SCAM! Lesson: Check reviews first and then order."

"Waited for the Maytag UKF-8001 Certified Green filter for Jenn-Air fridge for over a month. Maybe the post was checking if it was not grenade. Worse is that instead of genuine Maytag as per their picture and my order print out which clearly states that I paid for Maytag UKF-8001 filter I received cheap Eco Aqua EFF-6007A assembled in China replacement which I can buy from China for fraction of their price. Unfortunately it DOESN'T purify the water like the genuine Maytag filter. These people are cons!
They take money for genuine Maytag then tell Chinese to send ersats which do not clean water any better than the boiling does! Avoid them like an illness! I am going to complain."
"Placed filter in refrigerator and seems to be working fine. My only comment that is a bit negative is that when I was trying to track my purchase and clicked on where it told me to track the shipping, it came up saying the site (filteroutlets) was not authorized to connect to the usps server. I was able to track it going directly to the usps site not using the provided one from filteroutlet. Otherwise, my purchase went smoothly and hopefully the filter works as it is supposed to. Thanks"
