"My experience with the First Alert Store was very good, but it was only by chance that I even learned of its existence!

My comments really apply to the FirstAlert.com website, but I think the First Alert Store should be aware of these comments because I suspect the issues I am drawing your attention to affect your business negatively, big-time!

On the FirstAlert.com website, there is a 'Where to Buy' tab and I used that, but all I saw on repeated visits were the logos (and links) for all the stores like ACE, HomeDepot, Lowes, Sears, Amazon, etc. I did not even notice the teeny, TEENY print above all those logos: "First Alert products can be purchased at the First Alert Store Online or at the retailers below." For goodness sake, let people know there IS a First Alert Store!

Also, I was looking for a very specific - and seemingly impossible-to-find - product: a combination photoelectric and ionization smoke alarm with a 10 year battery. I searched ("combination pe and ion smoke alarm 10 year battery"), repeatedly, on the FirstAlert.com website and nothing came up. I've forgotten how -- it definitely was not through the 'Where to Buy' tab or through the First Alert website at all -- I finally came across the First Alert Store and found the exact thing I was looking for, a combination pe and ion smoke alarm with a 10 year battery. I had not been able to find any mention that this product existed anywhere else on the web, so I did find what I wanted, but only after searching and searching again for a couple of weeks."
