"Purchase of units was excellent from the placement of order to the email notices of packing and shipment. Cannot say more about this. Did have a problem in that the smoke alarm instructions shipped did not match the units with regard to installation of battery. Instructions said to remove tape to activate battery backup. No tape and battery had to be reversed and installed in opposite direction. Neither did the unit itself indicate how battery was to be installed as is normal on most devices."

"I looked at several on line market places for a simple surveillance system that only had 1 camera but also recorded audio, because those were the features i needed. I found many systems but they either had too much going on, or didnt offer sound with the video feed. I finally decided to look up the manufacturer of a few systems that i thought were a good value and that was First Alert. I immediately found several options and went with the system that in addition to the features i was looking for also didnt tie up space on the hard drive of my computer. I received the unit in 2 days, I am more than satisfied!"

The manual with this product is very inadequate. Lack of information seems to be the biggest problem on how this system works."
