"I've been using the service for almost three years and I can say that it has received a lot of improvement since then, but there is still a lot to be done. The main thing I'm complaining about is the recurring bugs/slowdowns/down moments. I must say that the down times have been reduced a lot recently, but they still happen some time to time.
Then there are always a lot of bugs/issues and I can't list them all here. This makes the service look so unprofessional. The few ones that come to my is the fact the withdrawal to a prepaid card feature isn't available on the app and on the mobile website (even when I request the desktop version), the mobile app sometimes locks the screen orientation for no reason, the special characters not being properly displayed on the mobile app, the interface not being very intuitive at some parts, etc. There were even optimization issues with the app that was consuming way too much resource, but I've seen some improvement in that area.
I have another complaint about the payment system, because having to wait 14 days (in the best case) to have our revenues available is a big deal, and the 20% fee kept by Fiverr should be reduced. There is definitely something to do about these.
That said, there are some good points, like the customer service, the very nice community that Fiverr has been able to put together, and the overall success of the platform with always more customers."

"Its the worst thing for the fiverr buyer that the recommended gigs are not picked by the skills of the seller. Also fiverr doesn.t differentiate between a 2 day seller or 2 year old seller with 100s of satisfied customer. Its very bad for fiverr buyers that fiverr recommend them a newbie instead of a qualified and experienced seller. "

- you are taking 20% of each sale. I think it's too much.
- there is no option to determine buyers past actions, better make a review system for buyers as well

"Ive been with Fiverr for four years now as of April 2016 and must say that Fiverr is a one of a kind site that actually is very helpful to the Seller as well as the Buyer!!
In my time here with Fiverr, I've made through the years just over $14,000. Granted, it took a while to get there, but now that I have regular clients and customers the sales keep coming in and the Fiverr Community always has great ideas, tricks and tips in their forum.
The only drawback that I have with Fiverr is that while I have been here for the last 4yrs, that they have an odd way of rating anyone over a Level 2 Seller. To the best of my knowledge they do not pick Top Sellers by way of rating or how popular you are, they pick top rated Sellers themselves and the chances of becoming one (for me anyway) to be challenging. I became a Level 2 seller on Fiverr not long after I began and was extremely hopeful to make the rank that seems eluding, Level 3 Seller or "Top Rated Seller". This would be my one and only drawback with Fiverr. I wish that they had a better rating scale for this however I am very grateful to be a Level Two Seller as this extremely helpful to my gigs and my work.
All else is wonderful and I cannot say enough good about Fiverr!!!
If you are dedicated to your work, if you take into account just how awesome Fiverr's support team is when you need them and you keep at it, you will succeed!!!
It may take a little trial and effort on your part to see what works for you and what doesnt, however as stated, Fiverr's community forum has an array of help here!!
I truly enjoy Fiverr and plan on being around for a very long time to come. I highly recommend them and I am always sharing with others if they are looking for additional work.
I am on Fiverr nearly each and every day. I try my hardest to not ever have a late gig and if I do have a late gig, I give the customer the offer of mutual refund so that no one is upset. I also try my hardest to deliver early too if at all possible, which lots of times I can.
If you are looking for a way to earn, have some free time and a lot of devotion, I would highly suggest using Fiverr. Be realistic with your gigs, know your work, complete early, try never to have late gigs, do your best to make your customers happy and another little secret, over deliver a little bit if you can. Im not saying to give away your product, but it means a lot to customers when you can over deliver in a small way.
To Fiverr I would (and often have) say: Thank you so much for your website and all that you offer. Because of your website not only can I reach others in my work, but I can reach across the globe and offer my work in other countries that I never thought I ever would be able to reach. Your website is wonderful!! Please keep up the great and amazing work that you do!!
