"Through and unfortunate series of events I managed to break my phone screen, and then break it again after fixing it. Both times I ordered the parts from Fixed.com, and both times I got exactly what I had ordered with no trouble. They also came with the little plastic pry bar for taking the phone apart, which is great. I was sceptical going in and placing an order with a company I had never heard of before, but they offered great service and timely shipping, and I couldn't have asked for more. Only problem i had was with second order. It got in in 2 days, but was only one battery when i ordered 2.
They appologized and sent another one. 5 minutes after hanging up i had a tracking number.
Wish they had half stars i would have given them 4.5 stars.

"I purchased an LG V10 repair kit for 87.99 plus shipping just to find that it was defective. The LCD did not turn on at all. I shipped the defective item back for a refund 2 weeks ago and as of today have yet to receive the credit back to my account. In addition to their very slow service times, they refused to refund the cost of the initial shipping (which was about $6.00) and also refused to cover the cost for me to ship their defective item back to them (which cost me $10.00 UPS). So I'm losing $16.00 even though it is not my fault that they sent me a defective item. This shows that Fix EZ does not operate on a customer-focused platform and they do not own up to the poor quality of their products. They never offered to to expedite the process or send me a new one. Extremely disappointed. I had to look else where to purchase my repair kit because they cannot be trusted. "Do NOT buy from Fixez. I ordered replacement battery for Nexus 4 and received a battery that would not hold a charge for longer than a few minutes. Emailed customer support, they took me through weeks of back and forth troubleshooting. Once they finally acknowledged that it was a dead battery, I was informed that my 30 day warranty was expired, even though I sent the first email on the day the battery arrived. I opened a dispute through PayPal and got an email from Fixez the following day: "We are more than willing to assist you in this matter, regarding your wanting your warranty to be honored although it has expired. However you have an open dispute with Paypal, that dispute will have to be closed in order for us to be able to move forward." Instead of escalating the dispute to a claim like I should've, I let the dispute close. I haven't received an email from Fixez since then, and since the dispute wasn't escalated to a claim within twenty days, I cannot reopen it. I'm not happy."

I reseated the screen and digitizer cables several times--this did not help.
I have ordered 5 screens from Fixez. All of which seem to be Chinese knock-offs with the Asus/brand name blacked-out/taped over to make it through customs successfully. Out of the 5 screen I had problems with 2 of them. One with the visual artifacts as seen in the linked picture and another screen where the hardware buttons (Home, Back, Apps) did not work.
I sent the screen back using the Fixez supplied packaging for the return.
Here is what they said:
We have received your part back for a return, however, after a thorough review of your order, it is the conclusion of our Returns/Exchanges Dept. Manager that the part is not acceptable for a return due to the following reason(s):
cracks in lower portion of the LCD from an install attempt
Unfortunately, we are unable to process a return or an exchange at this time."
